Must Have
- Own the IP strategy and roadmap for the CCS business team.
- Set and execute the strategic direction for both internal and 3rd party IP investments.
- Conduct market analysis of the overall Datacenter market and apply to Marvell’s IP strategy.
- Coordinate with top customers on IP requirements for current and future projects.
- Lead cross-functional coordination on new project proposals.
- Assess strategic tradeoffs in IP investment, including make vs buy analysis.
- Serve as the 'Customer Champion' within Marvell to drive strategy and winning solutions.
- Partner with Sales and Development organizations to drive optimal customer solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or related fields.
- 15 years of professional experience in the semiconductor or related industries.
- 2+ years experience in Marketing in the tech industry.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills.
- Experience with customer communication.
Good to Have
- Strong technical background in the semiconductor industry.
- 5+ years experience in semiconductor IP development.
- Experience with managing a P&L.
- Team leadership or previous management experience.

What You Can Expect
In this role, the Director Product Management IP Customer Offering Manager will own the IP strategy and roadmap for the CCS business team. They will have senior-level responsibility for setting and executing the strategic direction for both internal and 3rd party IP investments. This is a high-visibility role and regular interaction with senior executives and technical leaders both internal to Marvell and at customer is a key aspect of the job.

The Director Product Management IP Customer Offering Manager is a leader within the broader Marvell team, serving as the "Customer Champion" within Marvell to drive strategy and winning solutions. They partner with Sales and Development organizations to drive the best possible solution for the customer, and resolve conflicts as they arise. A strong collaborative mindset and a willingness to tackle any problem will be crucial to success in this role. Additionally, strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are required.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Director Product Management IP Customer Offering Manager to lead our client-facing IP strategy, driving strategic alignment across the customer portfolio and owning the roadmap and results for the business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or related fields and 15 years of professional experience in the semiconductor or related industries.
- 2+ years experience in Marketing in the tech industry
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), excellent communication skills
- Experience with customer communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong technical background in the semiconductor industry
- 5+ years experience in semiconductor IP development
- Experience with managing a P&L
- Team leadership or previous management experience
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
176,930 - 265,000, $ per annum
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
