Job Summary
As a Senior Category Manager Wafer at Infineon, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Category Strategy for Direct Material Categories, with a focus on the Chinese market. You will also support global procurement activities, manage supply chain risks, and maintain professional stakeholder relationships. The role requires a Master's degree combining commercial and technical aspects, at least 7 years of global procurement experience, ideally in semiconductor materials, and fluency in English and Chinese.
Must Have
- Develop and execute Category Strategy for Direct Material Category in alignment with the cross-functional team
- Analyze markets and suppliers with focus to China
- Manage regional suppliers, build reliable relationships and push for continuous improvement
- Perform negotiations and achieve ambitious cost reduction targets
- Support negotiations and other activities of colleagues from global Procurement Team
- Communicate and manage risks in the supply chain
- Care for professional stakeholder management

- Minimum 7 years of experience in global Procurement, ideally including semiconductor materials
- Excellent negotiations skills and proven successes

- Presentation skills on management level
