Job Summary

The Client Business Group at BlackRock is seeking an Analyst for the Hong Kong Private Bank Distribution Team. This role involves managing relationships with private banks in Hong Kong and deepening BlackRock’s wealth distribution efforts. The Analyst will work closely with Relationship Managers on client and account management, sales support activities, and coordination with internal departments. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of financial services experience, a strong understanding of asset & wealth management, and proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Must Have

  • Work closely with Relationship Manager to deepen client relationship and facilitate account management for Hong Kong private bank distributors.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of sales support activities, including preparing data updates, internal reports, supporting due diligence, conducting competitive analysis and product onboarding efforts, and serving as the primary contact for client email inquiries.
  • Coordinate and partner closely with different internal departments, including the portfolio management group, marketing, client service, product development, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless client coverage and business operations.
  • Work closely with the Singapore wealth team and iShares Wealth team for cross-border account management and collaborate on campaign launches and reporting.
  • Conduct marketing and industry trend analysis and support the implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally in client-facing or product management functions.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Attention to detail; independent and self-motivated; able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of the asset management industry and strong market knowledge.

Client Business Group

The Client Business Group is responsible for the strategy and distribution of BlackRock’s products, including open-end funds, closed-end funds, alternatives, and managed accounts, among others, working in partnership with financial intermediaries. We have teams across U.S. and Canada, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), Asia Pacific, and Latin America.

The role:

We are seeking an Analyst that provides coverage for the Hong Kong Private Bank Distribution Team within BlackRock’s Client Business Group. The team is devoted to manage overall relationship with the private banks in Hong Kong, and deepen BlackRock’s wealth distribution effort.

This role works closely with Relationship Managers to facilitate client relationship and account management. The right candidate should possess a good understanding of asset & wealth management industry, a strong desire to develop a career in private bank distribution, and a strong track record of operating to high standard in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:
