Senior IT Business Analyst (m/f)

ARHS Group, part of Accenture, is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to work within a European public-sector environment in Luxembourg. This role involves bridging business needs with technical implementation, focusing on requirements analysis, backlog management, testing coordination, and functional support. The ideal candidate will gather and document business requirements, translate them into user stories, model processes, and act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams, participating actively in Agile ceremonies.

Must Have

• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for IT solutions.
• Translate business needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria, aligned with Agile practices.
• Model processes and workflows (UML).
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams.
• Manage and refine backlogs, ensuring requirements are complete, prioritized, and development-ready.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Design and validate test cases and participate in end-to-end testing activities.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and collect business sign-off on deliverables.
• Provide reporting on project progress, risks, and resource planning.
• Produce and maintain project documentation including business requirements, user manuals, and procedural guides.
• Support application operations and functional issue resolution when required.
• Proven experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst in large financial institutions or European/international organizations.
• Strong background in SDLC, requirements gathering, and UML modeling.
• Experience working on e-banking and lending application projects.
• Solid experience in software testing, including writing test cases and coordinating UAT.
• Ability to produce clear documentation including business requirements, test scenarios, and user manuals in English.
• Strong skills in SQL and data quality-related activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project) and tools such as Jira and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level).
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Experience working within Agile environments and backlog management processes.

Good to Have

• French (B2 level)
