Job Summary

Unilever Jefferson City is seeking a Processing Technician for a 12-hour day shift (6am - 6:15pm) on a 2/2/3 schedule. This role involves actively supporting the Plant’s WCM initiative, measuring and weighing ingredients for product batches, operating and adjusting manufacturing equipment like mixers, scales, meters, and hoists, and maintaining accurate batch records. The technician will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and ensuring compliance with food safety and quality procedures.

Must Have

  • 2-3 years of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to perform primary calculations necessary to record productivity and complete all measurements in assigned areas
  • Effective computer skills (PC programs, SAP, plant scheduling system, Rockwell system)
  • Actively support the Plant’s WCM initiative
  • Measure or weigh ingredients needed for product batches
  • Clean and sanitize equipment
  • Operate manufacturing equipment: mixers, scales, meters, hoists
  • Adjust manufacturing equipment controls
  • Maintain accurate batch records
  • Comply with food safety, quality procedures, and batch record paperwork

Background and Purpose of the Role

Shift: 12 hour day shift; 2/2/3 schedule

Hours: 6am - 6:15pm

Rate of Pay: $26.29

What You’ll Do:

  • Actively support the Plant’s WCM initiative by completing all scheduled training and assigned WCM responsibilities, including all training related to the eight pillars of WCM, as applicable
  • Measures or weighs ingredients needed for product batches and places in manufacturing equipment.
  • Cleans and sanitizes equipment at proper times and maintains cleaning and sanitization logs.
  • Operates manufacturing equipment: mixers, scales, meters, hoists, etc.
  • Adjusts manufacturing equipment controls for proper speeds and temperatures.
  • Maintains accurate batch records required for various processes.
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Complies with food safety, quality procedures, and batch record paperwork
