TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Product Lead for the Sales area.
The Sales area focuses on generating revenue and increasing market share by identifying and satisfying customer needs. This involves developing sales strategies, establishing customer relationships, presenting products or services, and closing commercial agreements to achieve sales goals and objectives.
About you:
Supervise and direct the strategy, development, and lifecycle of a specific set of digital products or key functionalities of the AVOD platform, ensuring they align with the business vision and monetization priorities defined by the Head of Business and Product Marketing. This role is responsible for translating market strategy into an executable product roadmap, leading a team of Product Managers to deliver solutions that drive engagement and advertising revenue.
Your day to day:
- Lead the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap for your area, ensuring it is aligned with the overall platform strategy and monetization objectives.
- Prioritize product initiatives based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility.
- Supervise and guide the Product Managers under your charge, providing strategic direction, feedback, and support in their professional development.
- Ensure consistency and quality in the execution of product management within your team.
- Collaborate with the Strategy & Insights team to deepen understanding of user and advertiser needs, as well as market trends and competition.
- Use these insights to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities.
- Act as the main point of contact between the Product team and other key departments such as Engineering, Content, Advertising Sales, Data & Analytics, and Consumer Marketing.
- Ensure fluid communication and alignment on project objectives and execution.
- Translate business and user needs into clear and detailed product requirements (user stories, use cases).
- Work with design teams (UX/UI) to ensure an optimal and fluid user experience.
- Define key KPIs for product success and monitor their performance post-launch.
- Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization opportunities, continuously iterating on the product.
- Foster experimentation and Test & Learn for new functionalities and formats (especially in advertising and monetization), seeking innovative solutions that drive engagement and revenue.
- Keep relevant leaders and teams informed about product progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Represent the product's voice in executive and strategic meetings, articulating its value and needs.
- Actively monitor the competitive landscape and emerging trends in the streaming, AdTech, and digital products market.
- Identify threats and opportunities for the product, and propose strategic adjustments to the roadmap.
You must have:
- Bachelor's degree in areas such as Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
- Advanced English
- Solid experience in Digital Product Management, preferably in streaming platforms (AVOD/SVOD), digital media, or AdTech.
- Proven track record in defining and executing product roadmaps that have resulted in user and/or revenue growth.
- Experience in digital product monetization, including knowledge of advertising models (programmatic, direct sold, CTV).
- Familiarity with the AdTech ecosystem (DMPs, DSPs, SSPs, Ad Servers) and data platforms.
- Experience in leading product teams or mentoring Product Managers.
- 7 years of professional experience in the digital or technology field.
- 3 years in senior product management or team leadership roles.
