Job Description

Lead the Product Monetization team to grow revenue by designing and implementing effective monetization strategies for hybrid casual music games, focusing on in-app ads and IAPs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategies to increase revenue and profit. Develop and manage a team to scale strategies across products. Leverage data to make decisions on pricing, game economies, and ad operations. Requires a deep understanding of mobile gaming markets, monetization strategies in hybrid casual games, user behavior, and business models. The role involves defining monetization strategies for key games, utilizing business intelligence tools, A/B testing, and hypothesis testing.

OBJECTIVE

    • Lead the Product Monetization team to grow revenue by designing and implementing effective monetization strategies across our products, with a focus on both in-app ads and in-app purchases (IAPs). Ensure alignment with Amanotes’ Hybrid Casual game direction while leveraging user insights and data to maximize revenue opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Define appropriate monetization strategy for all our key games and ensure we have effective monetization through advertisements, subscriptions and non-recurring payments. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define these strategies and implement them to grow our revenue and profit.  
    • Have a good understanding of our users, business models and games to be able to define tactics to grow our revenue. 
    • Leverage data to make decisions on pricing strategies, balancing game economies and ad operations. 
    • Manage and develop a team to effectively scale these strategies across products. 

QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of experience in monetization roles and/or product management with background in gaming or other end-to-customer technology companies.
    • 2+ years of experience in leading and developing a team of specialists.
    • Strong understanding of the mobile gaming market and monetization strategies implemented in hybrid casual games with a passion for games.
    • Proficiency in handling data through business intelligence tools. Good understanding of AB testing and hypothesis testing.
    • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
    • Good understanding of the advertising ecosystem is a plus.
