Job Summary

Amanotes is seeking an experienced Unity Playable Ads Developer to create interactive ad experiences. The role involves building compelling 2D and 3D playable ads and interactive endcards, coding gameplay logic using Unity and C#, and applying OOP principles. You will collaborate with artists, optimize ad performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement event tracking. The ideal candidate is passionate about gaming and interactive ad development, ensuring engaging and smooth user experiences across various platforms.

Must Have

  • Build a wide range of playable ads and interactive endcards, from simple 2D gameplay to 3D, complex gameplay experiences.
  • Code gameplay logic, interaction systems, ad flow and ad config tool using Unity, applying best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Apply OOP principles and design patterns (singleton, observer, facade, object pooling, etc.) to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
  • Optimize assets & ensure all deliverables meet ad network policies and technical requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during Ads operations (capacity, sizing, bugs, rejections from ad networks).
  • Implement event tracking and verify that key user interactions are correctly recorded in Luna Playwork.
  • Deep understanding and high-level proficiency in Unity and C# for playable or mobile game development.
  • Experience with Unity 2D/3D systems, including physics, particle systems, animation controllers, and timeline.
  • Familiarity with core Unity frameworks and tools such as DOTween, Zenject, ScriptableObjects, Addressables, and custom editor scripting.
  • Experience integrating and working with third-party SDKs and plugins, version control (Git), and WebGL builds for playable ads.
  • Knowledge and application of key programming principles (DRY, KISS, SOLID) and OOP best practices.
  • Portfolio showcasing shipped playable ads, prototypes, or interactive projects built in Unity.

  • Strong understanding about game art, mechanics, UI/UX.
  • Basic proficiency in Photoshop or equivalent tools for asset adjustment and integration.
  • Good understanding of animation principles, VFX, and UI transitions to create visually engaging playables.
  • Genuinely loves playing games, understanding game art, animation timing, and VFX principles to bring creative ideas to life.
  • Basic proficiency AI prompt or equivalent tools for asset handling and integration.

Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Build a wide range of playable ads and interactive endcards, from simple 2D gameplay to 3D, complex gameplay experiences based on creative briefs.
  • Code gameplay logic, interaction systems, ad flow and ad config tool using Unity, applying best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Apply OOP principles and design patterns (singleton, observer, facade, object pooling, etc.) to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
  • Work closely with artists to integrate animations, VFX, SFX, and interaction flows that capture the original game’s visual, core mechanic and deliver a FUN & persuasive player experience.
  • Develop multiple creative and gameplay variations for testing to optimize engagement, retention, and conversion performance.
  • Strong understanding about game art, mechanics, UI/UX.
  • Optimize assets & ensure all deliverables meet ad network policies and technical requirements (IronSource, AppLovin, Mintegral, Google, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during Ads operations (capacity, sizing, bugs, rejections from ad networks).
  • Optimize loading times, runtime performance, and gameplay flow to ensure smooth, fast experiences across devices and channels.
  • Implement event tracking and verify that key user interactions are correctly recorded in Luna Playwork for analysis and optimization.
  • Create Unity Playworks template for easier config.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep understanding and high-level proficiency in Unity and C# for playable or mobile game development.
