The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical, outcomes-driven and detail-oriented Product Operations Associate to own the acceleration of growth and quality within the Aviation hardware space. This role involves solving complex operational challenges affecting our delivery team, and working closely with cross functional partners and leaders to influence change and drive meaningful impact for the business. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and is excited to seek out and own projects that yield operational efficiency, improve cost and quality, and drive top line growth for an ever-evolving business.

• By focusing on Aviation Product Delivery, you will quickly ramp up to strategically manage and enact solutions that improve the efficiency of that particular function.
• By greatly contributing to improved delivery outcomes that directly impact the company's reputation and growth.
• By solving some of the most complex problems the company faces in providing customers with their end product, which ultimately help them make their communities safer.

The Skillset

• 3+ years of experience working in a high-growth environment with a technical background that provides the foundation for navigating our engineering environment with ease
• Experience partnering across Operations functions to lead programs that achieve critical business outcomes around hardware delivery
• Comfortable working in a fast moving operational environment, focused on meeting and exceeding lofty metrics and goals, with strong follow-through and ability to self-manage multiple tasks and projects at once
• Highly analytical, utilizing and developing reports and a suite of tools to assess operational trends, identify challenges, and design solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Ability to gain alignment and drive decisions with key stakeholders, including Product, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to ensure dependencies are identified and project goals are clear
• Have proven experience as a member or leader of a team that has shipped consumer or IOT electronic devices
• Has experience with google sheets, SQL, and Sigma
• Diplomatic, tactful and poised under pressure, with a high comfort with ambiguity
• Demonstrate
• Capable of identifying gaps or risks and moving quickly to mitigate those issues. At Flock we take ownership and resolve problems, never assuming ‘someone else is going to take care of it’
• Team player that contributes positively to overall team morale and company culture
• UAS Part 107 is a plus

The First 30 Days

• You will familiarize yourself with the aviation delivery function, meet the team and get up to speed on team metrics, reporting, and existing systems used to maximize efficiency
• Begin to dive into your assigned area, learning about its unique intricacies.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners.

The First 60 Days

• Working with key stakeholders to solve everyday complex problems efficiently and effectively
• Demonstrating a strong understanding of team metrics, and what levers can be pulled to drive change
• Leveraging tools, resources, and relationships to optimize performance
• Managing weekly team reviews and driving the decision making process

90 Days & Beyond

• Fully running your assigned functional area and are the subject matter expert.
• Demonstrating your ability to identify, root cause, and solve complex problems effectively
• Setting team goals and contributing to quarterly planning metrics
• Adapting to constantly changing priorities
