This role involves coordinating programmatic projects and teams, ensuring alignment with WRI Brazil's institutional strategy, budget, and results. Key responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of landscape and forest restoration projects in the Atlantic Forest and Caatinga biomes, delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget. The coordinator will also support management in institutional articulations, prepare technical and financial reports for donors, identify funding opportunities, and foster strategic partnerships. This position requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams and contribute to WRI's mission.

  • Coordinate landscape and forest restoration projects in Atlantic Forest and Caatinga.

  • Prepare and coordinate technical meetings.
  • Elaborate technical, narrative, and financial reports for donors.
  • Identify funding opportunities and contribute to proposals.
  • Support donor and strategic partner relationships.
  • Assist in knowledge management and information exchange.
  • Represent WRI Brazil in restoration articulations.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships.
  • Support internal and strategic communication.
  • Degree in Agronomy, Forest Engineering, Biology, Geography, Project Management, International Relations, Financial Management or related fields.

Job Highlight:

You will be responsible for coordinating programmatic projects and teams, ensuring coherence between activities, budget, results, and WRI Brazil's institutional strategy.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate teams and supervise technical deliveries.
  • Ensure alignment between projects and programmatic strategy.
  • Produce impact and results reports.
  • Support management in institutional articulations.

Specifically:

  • Coordinate the implementation of projects related to landscape and forest restoration in the Atlantic Forest and Caatinga biomes, ensuring quality deliveries, on time and within budget.
  • Assist in planning and monitoring the activities of the teams that make up the Management.
  • Prepare and coordinate technical meetings, when requested.
  • Elaborate technical, narrative, and financial reports for donors.
  • Ensure the alignment of activities with WRI's institutional strategies.
  • Identify funding opportunities in collaboration with the Development team.
  • Contribute to the elaboration of project proposals.
  • Support the cultivation of relationships with donors and strategic partners.
  • Coordination of activities
  • Support the coordination of multidisciplinary teams in project implementation.
  • Contribute to planning and monitoring processes for activities.
  • Assist in knowledge management and information exchange between WRI areas.
  • Support WRI Brazil's representation in articulations related to landscape and forest restoration.
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining partnerships with public, private, multilateral organizations, academia, and civil society.
  • Support the internal communication of the Management, as well as communication with the other teams of the Program.
  • Support the strategic communication of WRI results and recommendations to various audiences.

What you will need:

  • Graduation in Agronomy, Forest Engineering, Biology, Geography, Project Management, International Relations, Financial Management or related fields.
  • Desirable previous experience of 8 years in programmatic projects
  • Advanced English
