Job Description

As the Agile Project Manager Senior Specialist, you play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment and effective value delivery across multiple work streams and teams within CAP Technology. Your focus will be to foster collaboration, remove obstacles and ensure that cross-team risks and dependencies are managed effectively. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure that delivery aligns with the strategic goals of the business. You will lead cross-functional teams globally, deploying critical solutions and technology, providing program/project management from inception to deployment, and building strong customer relations.
Good To Have:

  • Knowledge of scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale).
  • Product development experience in a financial technology and services organization.
  • Experience coaching Agile teams.
Must Have:
  • Assist with the definition, planning and execution of corporate and CAP divisional initiatives.
  • Track initiative progress, facilitate synchronization events, remove impediments and mitigate risks to quarterly plan.
  • Establish metrics to measure the stability and predictability of Agile Teams/Team of Teams.
  • Find opportunities to reduce waste within the value delivery system.
  • Serve as the primary point of coordination across various product development teams.
  • Ensure consistency in agile practices, prioritization and results.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across teams.
  • Ensure all product development efforts are aligned with business goals and value is delivered efficiently.
  • Partner closely with Product & Technology Leaders and other customers to handle backlogs, dependencies, risks and resources.
  • Identify and handle dependencies, ensuring blockers are addressed quickly.
  • Help teams understand how their work fits into larger business objectives.
  • Proactively identify potential risks of issues across teams and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Promote and enhance Agile protocols across teams.
  • Act as a coach to teams to continuously improve Agile practices, delivery and communication.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and customers to ensure expectations are met.
  • Help business owners evaluate economic trade-offs and provide insights for data-driven decision making.
  • Provide regular updates and insights into Team of Teams performance and delivery metrics.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and associated certifications (CSM, CSPO, etc.).
  • At least 7+ years’ experience in Agile product development, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or cross-team role.
  • Solid understanding of and practical experience using AI technologies and concepts.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and handling customer expectations.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence or similar).
  • Shown experience handling complex dependencies and aligning multiple teams toward common goals.
  • Exceptional facilitation, communication and social skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop partnership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.

As the Agile Project Manager Senior Specialist, you play a pivotal role in ensuring alignment and effective value delivery across multiple work streams and teams within CAP Technology. Your focus will be to foster collaboration, remove obstacles and ensure that cross-team risks and dependencies are managed effectively. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure that delivery aligns with the strategic goals of the business.

Your role and responsibilities:

You will lead cross-functional teams across the globe, deploying critical solutions and technology that are foundational for delivering quality solutions. You will provide crucial program/project management functions from inception to deployment, including internal customer interaction, building strong relations and trust with your customers.

In this role, you will work across multiple strong, expert teams delivering sophisticated solutions to a global client base. You’ll be instrumental in supporting corporate and CAP Divisional initiatives such as the implementation of AI Efficiency Reporting, Project Development Lifecycle (PDLC) Compliance, and the implementation, adoption and continued evolution of project execution tools such as the Metrics Starter Pack and CAP Execution Maturity Assessment.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Execution: Assist with the definition, planning and execution of corporate and CAP divisional initiatives, track initiative progress, facilitate synchronization events, remove impediments and mitigate risks to quarterly plan.
  • Flow Optimization: Establish metrics to measure the stability and predictability of Agile Teams/Team of Teams in delivering against planned objectives and find opportunities to reduce waste within the value delivery system.
  • Cross-Team Alignment: Serve as the primary point of coordination across various product development teams, ensuring consistency in agile practices, prioritization and results. Facilitate communication and alignment across teams to ensure that all work streams are moving in the same (accurate) direction
  • Value Delivery: Ensure that all product development efforts are aligned with business goals and that value is delivered efficiently!
  • Partner closely with Product & Technology Leaders and other customers to handle backlogs, dependencies, risks and resources.
  • Dependency & Risk Management: Identify and handle dependencies, ensuring that any blockers are addressed quickly. Help teams understand how their work fits into the larger business objectives and ensure smooth coordination between them. Proactively identify potential risks of issues across teams and develop strategies to mitigate or address them in alignment with the broader business objectives!
  • Agile Facilitation & Coaching: Promote and enhance Agile protocols across teams. Act as a coach to teams to continuously improve Agile practices, delivery and communication.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior leadership and customers to ensure their expectations are met and there is clarity and visibility. Help business owners evaluate economic trade-offs and provide insights to support data-drive decision making. Provide regular updates and insights into the Team of Teams performance and delivery metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancements, streamlining delivery and encouraging innovation across teams.

We expect you to have:

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban and associated certifications (CSM, CSPO, etc.).
  • At least 7+ years’ experience in Agile product development, with at least 5+ years in a leadership or cross-team role.
