Job Description

You will support Focus publishing, ensure royalty tracking, contribute to budgets and forecasts, participate in group consolidation and the improvement of financial processes. Reporting to the Director of Management Control, you will join the Group Management Control team and work on both the main publishing entity Focus Entertainment and the consolidated vision of the Pullup Group, contributing to innovative game publishing.
Must have:
  • Monitor Focus publishing activities
  • Manage royalties, including production and control of reports
  • Contribute to budgetary processes and periodic forecasts
  • Participate in monthly Group consolidation
  • Optimize closing processes and propose tool evolutions
  • Master 2 in Management Control or Audit
  • 2-4 years experience in company or audit firm
  • Comfortable with numbers, able to analyze and translate financial data
  • Proficient in reading P&L and balance sheet
  • Master Excel and Power Query
  • Good written and spoken English
Good to have:
  • Develop or deepen knowledge of SAP By Design, Power BI and an EPM tool

At Pullup Entertainment, we publish games that push the boundaries of the medium. Innovative concepts, alternative gameplay, singular universes: our editorial line attracts studios from all over the world and offers players unique experiences.

Reporting to the Director of Management Control, you will join the Group Management Control team and work on both the main publishing entity Focus Entertainment and the consolidated vision of the Pullup Group.

Your missions:

  • Monitoring of Focus publishing activities
  • Monthly recognition of revenue and margin per game.
  • Close collaboration with management controllers, sales teams and accounting for the determination of provisions (revenues, royalties, production and marketing costs).
  • Compliance with closing deadlines and external publication obligations (listed group with quarterly reporting).
  • Monitoring of game news (launches, DLC, specific commercial operations) in direct link with business teams and mastery of associated management data.
  • Royalty management
  • Production and control of royalty reports transmitted to development studios.
  • Support to the Royalty Officer to ensure process continuity, quality and compliance with deadlines on a key subject in the relationship with partner studios.
  • Budgets and forecasts
  • Contribution to budgetary processes and periodic forecasts on revenue and margin per game.
  • Analysis and monitoring of overheads and payroll for publishing and the holding company (support functions).
  • Participation in the dissemination of a cost control culture within support departments.
  • Group Consolidation
  • Participation in the monthly consolidation process of the Pullup Group (approximately 15 entities in France and internationally).
  • Guarantee reliable and timely reporting of management information.
  • Control and analysis of data from several entities and animation of the Group's Finance community.
  • Continuous improvement & projects
  • Optimization of closing processes and proposal of tool evolutions to ensure reliability and automation of reporting.
  • Contribution to Finance function transformation projects, notably the implementation of a new management reporting tool (EPM).

Job Requirements

What we expect from you:

  • Master 2 degree in Management Control or Audit, with 2 to 4 years of successful experience in a company (group or ETI) or in an audit/statutory audit firm.
  • Comfortable with numbers, you know how to analyze, anticipate and translate financial data into clear information for decision-making.
  • Reading a P&L and a balance sheet is part of your skills, and you are able to identify performance and optimization levers.
  • You master Excel and Power Query, and wish to develop or deepen your knowledge of SAP By Design, Power BI and an EPM tool.

  • Position: 1-year permanent contract to be filled ASAP
