The PR & Influence Department at Focus Entertainment is expanding its team with the creation of a PR & Influence Manager position. Under the supervision of our Head of PR & Influence, our team ensures the promotion of Focus Entertainment’s game catalog to the press and content creators worldwide.
Within the Marketing department of a major player in the gaming industry, and supported by our Senior PR & Influence Manager, your mission will be to participate in the operational deployment of our PR & Influence communication strategies and thus become a key contact for journalists, influencers, as well as our agencies and distribution partners in many territories.
Your missions:
- You take part in the operational PR & Influence of all campaigns and will regularly be in contact with the other Marketing departments of Focus Entertainment: Brand Management, Community Management, Trade Marketing, Advertising; as well as with partner studios.
- For territories handled internally, you lead communication campaigns for our games with your targets – content creators and journalists worldwide – ensuring the smooth circulation of news related to our games via press releases, as well as opportunities for previews, reviews or events. In this capacity, you are also responsible for updating our press and content creator contact databases.
- For territories not handled internally, you communicate daily with our partner agencies and the PR stakeholders of our distribution network to coordinate the progress of our actions.
- You participate in the creation of numerous tools: press kits/goodies for the press and influencers, press kits, preview guides, Q&A; or the organization of physical and digital events.
- You report to your managers and partner studios on the smooth running of campaigns through the preparation of reports.
What we expect from you:
- A first professional experience involving regular collaboration with the press or content creators, in an agency or with an advertiser.
- Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
- You regularly consume content on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok platforms and are sensitive to the marketing issues they embody.
- Excellent written and oral expression in French and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suite; familiarity with PR or influence management tools is an asset.
