##### You as part of tonies:

At tonies, we transform data into real insights that enable joy and adventure for our listeners worldwide. As a Finance Data Analyst, you'll be at the heart of it: you connect local figures with global data models, make them understandable, and derive concrete recommendations. This helps our Finance teams, markets, and central units make quick and smart decisions.

You ensure that our dashboards and models not only show how revenue, margin, and costs are developing, but also why – and what's next. At the same time, you ensure that our finance data remains clean, understandable, and easily accessible to everyone.

##### Your tasks include:

• Financial Analysis & Insights: You analyze deviations in revenue, margin, and costs, find the causes, and derive concrete recommendations for action.
• Stakeholder Management: You translate complex analyses into understandable stories for our teams in Finance, Markets, and Leadership and build self-service solutions where appropriate.
• Reporting & Visualization: You develop robust Tableau dashboards for management reviews (e.g., BvA, Forecast vs. Actual, Cost Performance) and create quick ad-hoc analyses.
• Data Modeling: You build and maintain structured Finance datasets (P&L, OPEX, COGS) in our Data Warehouse.
• Automation: You replace manual reports with automated transformations, scheduled jobs, and notifications.
• Data Quality & Governance: You track discrepancies from ERP postings to the dashboard, support standard definitions, and ensure high data quality across all markets.

##### What we wish from you:

• Experience: You bring at least 3 years of experience in Data Analytics or Finance/Controlling Analytics – ideally in an environment with physical and digital products.
• Financial Understanding: You have a solid understanding of financial principles (Revenue, COGS, OPEX, Margin) and a basic understanding of ERP posting logic (e.g., NAV Business Central).
• Technical Skills: You are proficient in using data analysis and visualization tools, especially Tableau, SQL, and advanced Excel. Ideally, you have experience with DWH systems like Snowflake and ETL tools like dbt.
• Data Products & Automation: You develop scalable data products or KPI suites that accelerate decision-making processes and reduce manual work.
• Working Style & Personality: You have strong analytical skills, a high affinity for numbers, and a strong problem-solving mentality – proactive, independent, and solution-oriented.
• Communication: You have excellent communication skills and can convey complex matters clearly, structured, and understandably.
• Languages: You are fluent in German and English.
