Working Student (all genders) – Accounts Payable

As a working student in Accounts Payable, you will be a key part of the accounting team, actively managing payment processes. Your responsibilities include supporting the digital processing and booking of incoming invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, and contributing analytical skills to month-end and year-end closing activities. We seek a numbers-savvy, independent team player who communicates effectively with internal departments and external suppliers, ready to apply theoretical knowledge in a growing, international company.

Must Have

• Support in processing invoice receipt workflow and digital processing of incoming invoices
• Checking and booking incoming invoices
• Assistance in maintaining and reconciling vendor accounts
• Support with travel expense reports and credit card statements
• Support with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Communication with internal departments and external suppliers
• General administrative tasks in accounting
• Enrolled student at a university of applied sciences or university with a focus on business administration, finance, and/or accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Very good communication skills in German and good in English
• Analytical thinking, affinity for numbers, and an open, optimistic personality
• Team player, but also enjoys working independently

Good to Have

• Initial professional experience in accounting
• Initial experience with the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Business Central

• You are an enrolled student at a university of applied sciences or university with a focus on business administration, finance, and/or accounting.
• Ideally, you have initial professional experience in accounting.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and ideally have initial experience with the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Business Central.
• You can communicate very well in German and well in English.
• You are characterized by your analytical thinking, your affinity for numbers, and an open, optimistic personality.
• You are a team player, but also enjoy working independently.
