QA Manual (Backend)

This QA Manual (Backend) role involves testing Back-End systems, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations. Key responsibilities include writing test cases, analyzing autotest results, actively managing requirements, maintaining test documentation, and collaborating with iOS, Android, and Web teams.

Must Have

• At least 2 years of Manual QA experience
• At least 1 year of Back-End testing experience
• Good knowledge of general testing methodologies and practices
• Good knowledge of API testing (preferably REST)
• Understanding of client-server interaction, HTTP
• Experience with Postman, Swagger (or similar)
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence
• Understanding of CI/CD
• Expertise in software requirements analysis
• Ability to independently set tasks and effectively organize own work
• Result-oriented and attentive to details
• Quick perception of new ideas and concepts
• Ability to present ideas in business-understandable language

Good to Have

• Experience testing iOS / Android applications, Web platforms
• Experience testing AI-integrations
• Experience with Allure TestOps / TestRail / Qase
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ / Apache Kafka / Amazon SQS
• Experience with ElasticSearch, Redis
• Experience with logs, monitoring systems (e.g., Elastic APM / Kibana / Grafana)
• Experience with projects in the Health & Fitness sector

Your future tasks:

• Testing Back-End (API, databases, API contracts) systems.
• Testing interaction with 3rd Party systems;
• Writing test cases and testing scenarios;
• Analyzing autotest results;
• Active work with requirements;
• Creating and maintaining existing test documentation;
• Interaction with related teams (iOS, Android, Web);
• Participation in team meetings;
• Active participation in the development process.
