What We Need
As the QA Test Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of QA testers to ensure the highest level of quality in our video game products. You will oversee the testing process from inception to release, implementing strategies to identify and resolve issues, and maintaining our commitment to delivering exceptional gaming experiences.

What You’ll Do
● Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA testers, Leads and Manager's, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
● Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored to each game project, ensuring thorough coverage of all aspects including functionality, performance, compatibility, and usability.
● Test Execution: Oversee the execution of test plans, coordinating testing efforts across multiple platforms and environments to identify and report defects accurately and efficiently.
● Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
● Risk Management: Identify potential risks and prioritize testing efforts to mitigate them, collaborating with development teams to address critical issues in a timely manner.
● Tool and Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
● Communication: Serve as a liaison between QA, development, and other cross-functional teams, providing regular updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.
● Performance Analysis: Analyze test results and metrics to assess product quality and performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
● Release Management: Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to coordinate release schedules and ensure smooth and successful product launches.
● Continual Learning: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in game testing and quality assurance.

What Will Make You A Great Fit
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
● Proven experience in a leadership role within QA within in the video game industry.
● Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
● Proficiency with bug tracking and test management systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
● Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and a commitment to excellence.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
● Familiarity with game development pipelines, platforms, and engines (e.g., Unity,Unreal Engine) is a plus.
