Your role and responsibilities
Our Quality team is responsible for systematically assessing the quality of specific parts and models. They play a fundamental role in realizing TVH's product quality policy. They actively transfer their product quality knowledge to spread this expertise as widely as possible within the company.
As a Quality Claim Advisor, you are part of TVH's quality department. When a customer returns a part they are not satisfied with, you investigate the cause of the defect or damage. You measure the part, perform the necessary tests, and decide whether the customer receives a credit note. You are often in close contact with colleagues from sales and purchasing.
Your tasks include:
- You technically investigate the nature of a break or defect.
- You check whether the customer has used the part correctly.
- You investigate the origin of the break (e.g., caused during transport or during the assembly of the spare part).
- You recognize a damage pattern yourself, examine it, measure it, and estimate whether it can be easily repaired.
- You provide relevant information about quality incidents to other involved departments via the TVH programs.
- Together with the Quality Coordinator, you are responsible for helping to monitor the product quality of the products assigned to you. Consultation with the purchasing manager and proposing/supporting corrective and preventive actions are also among your tasks.
- For this vacancy, we are looking for a person who, in addition to other technical products, also has an affinity or interest in assessing and/or inspecting batteries.
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or are equivalent through experience.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch and English.
- You have a passion for working with parts.
- You have a positive attitude towards performing technical inspections at a workbench.
- You are willing to provide reporting for your own inspections.
- You are hands-on and practical.
- You are communicative and able to defend your decisions.
- Knowledge of batteries is a plus.
