Job Description

The Reinsurance Credit Control Specialist will be responsible for reconciling fiduciary balances with clients and reinsurers, following up on receivables, proposing and issuing payments, and analyzing fiduciary metric balances. They will also be involved in minimizing the company's exchange exposure in multi-currency transactions and assist with ad-hoc requests. The role requires effective workload management, professional communication and negotiation skills with clients and colleagues, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The specialist will work both independently and within a team to create new solutions and impact clients and communities.

Guy Carpenter is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Jakarta office:

Reinsurance Credit Control Specialist

We will rely on you to:

  • Assist in reconciling the outstanding fiduciary balances with clients and reinsurers

  • Follow up with clients and reinsurers for receivables

  • Propose and issue payments to clients and reinsurers

  • Assist in analyzing fiduciary metric balances

  • Minimize company’s exchange exposure when dealing with multi-currency

  • Assist with ad-hoc request as and when required

What you need to have: 

  • Prior experience of working in credit control within the Reinsurance sector

  • Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholders

  • Able to engage, influence and negotiate with clients, market contacts and colleagues in a professional manner

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
