Job Description

Review reliability qualification strategies to align with NXP Reliability Policy and Requirement (RPR) and customer-specific requirements. Act as a peer in local and global reliability qualification processes, contributing reliability knowledge for thorough risk analysis based on FMEA, RKM, structural similarity rules, and quality specifications. Support the reliability competence manager in developing the reliability technology roadmap. Provide general reliability physics competence support to stakeholders including Innovation, PE/TE, and Manufacturing. Collaborate closely with life test engineers, operations teams, and BL design/application engineers for project management of reliability services to meet target planning. Execute reliability qualification strategies, engineering risk mitigation, and reliability monitoring plans with agreed milestone planning to deliver results on time. Create reliability tests in the shop floor system and transfer them to the operation group for execution as per requirements and plans. Provide input for the reliability monitoring program to periodically verify the quality and reliability performance of manufactured products sold to customers and manufacturing assembly processes, triggering associated wafer fabrication processes per the BL plan. Analyze and conclude on failures in reliability testing in cooperation with failure & material analysis engineers and BL test & product engineers. Lead 8D/CrA initiatives, both internal and cross-departmental, and lead improvement teams in the reliability area.

Job Details

  • Review reliability qualification strategies to meet the NXP Reliability Policy and Requirement (RPR) and Customer specific requirement.
  • Peer of local and global reliability qualification process regarding to reliability knowledge to participate a thorough risk-analysis based on FMEA analysis, RKM, knowledge of structural similarity rules and applicable quality specifications.
  • Support the reliability competence manager in realizing the reliability technology roadmap.
  • General Reliability Physics competence support to all stakeholders, like Innovation, PE/TE and Manufacturing
  • Close cooperation required with life test engineer, operation team, and BL design/application engineer for project management of reliability service to achieve BL/requestor target planning.
  • Execution according reliability qualification strategy, engineering risk mitigation, and, reliability monitoring plan, with agree milestone planning to deliver results on time.
  • Create reliability test in shop floor system and transfer to operation group for execution according to requirement and plan.
  • Provide input on the reliability monitoring program to reliability monitoring program manager for periodically verify the quality and reliability performance of manufacturing products sold to customers and mfg assembly process and to trigger associated wafer fabrication process per BL plan.
  • Analyze and conclude on failures in reliability testing in cooperation with failure & material analysis engineers as well as BL test & product engineers.
  • Lead 8D/CrA both internal and cross-department, and lead improvement team at the reliability area.
