Review reliability qualification strategies to align with NXP Reliability Policy and Requirement (RPR) and customer-specific requirements. Act as a peer in local and global reliability qualification processes, contributing reliability knowledge for thorough risk analysis based on FMEA, RKM, structural similarity rules, and quality specifications. Support the reliability competence manager in developing the reliability technology roadmap. Provide general reliability physics competence support to stakeholders including Innovation, PE/TE, and Manufacturing. Collaborate closely with life test engineers, operations teams, and BL design/application engineers for project management of reliability services to meet target planning. Execute reliability qualification strategies, engineering risk mitigation, and reliability monitoring plans with agreed milestone planning to deliver results on time. Create reliability tests in the shop floor system and transfer them to the operation group for execution as per requirements and plans. Provide input for the reliability monitoring program to periodically verify the quality and reliability performance of manufactured products sold to customers and manufacturing assembly processes, triggering associated wafer fabrication processes per the BL plan. Analyze and conclude on failures in reliability testing in cooperation with failure & material analysis engineers and BL test & product engineers. Lead 8D/CrA initiatives, both internal and cross-departmental, and lead improvement teams in the reliability area.
