Job Description
As a Remote Service Engineer IGT (m/f/d), you are part of an innovative and responsible DACH Remote Team that continuously contributes to improving customer satisfaction. Together, we provide remote and telephone support for end customers, distributors, and our Field Service districts.
Your Job:
- Independently perform remote activities with partially known solutions
- Technology-agnostic analysis of the fault cause and decision on the solution path, considering clinical, financial, and technical impacts
- If necessary, develop a solution weighing customer satisfaction and economic efficiency
- Close contact with the customer and active management of escalation situations through professional communication
- Perform technical modifications (e.g., Field Change Orders) on medical technology systems
- Support in processing escalations up to Level 2 (incl. Action Plan)
- Virtually guide Field Service for on-site repairs and Field Change Orders
- Instruct users on site and via remote (in systems, networks, configuration of current technologies, etc.)
- Document and report safety-relevant defects or risks according to the Customer Feedback Process
You should bring the following:
- Successfully completed technical training, technical college or degree in medical technology, electrical engineering
- Several years of experience in technical IGT service including application knowledge
- E2E process understanding in the R2R area considering all applied tools
- Good IT/network knowledge
- Good internal/external communication
- Very resilient and able to work in a team
- Structured way of working and high demands on documentation
- Pronounced customer management and escalation management
- Fluent German and English language skills
