Job Description
- Lead the creation of character, creature, and prop rigs.
- Ensure rigs meet artistic and technical needs of the film.
- Work closely with Character Supervisor, Animation Director, and Modelling team.
- Ensure rigs deform well, are animator-friendly, and provide necessary articulation.
- Oversee the rigging team, set technical standards, and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain consistency and efficiency across all rigs throughout production.
- Right to work in the UK.

Job Details
Rigging Lead Artist (3D CG Animated Short Film)
Responsible for leading the creation of character, creature, and prop rigs that meet the film’s artistic and technical needs. Works closely with the Character Supervisor, Animation Director, and Modelling team to ensure rigs deform well, are animator-friendly, and provide the necessary articulation for storytelling. Oversees the rigging team, sets technical standards, troubleshoots issues, and maintains consistency and efficiency across all rigs throughout production.
