Job Description

This is a senior leadership role for a Sales Director in ANZ, responsible for owning the commercial strategy and full P&L for ZURU Edge. The role involves driving execution excellence across product, pricing, promotion, and placement, leading joint business planning, and managing retail media and shopper strategy to deliver sustainable, profitable growth across Beauty, Baby, Pet, Household & Confectionery verticals.
Must Have:
  • Full accountability for ANZ sales and profit delivery across all categories.
  • Lead annual channel strategies, joint business planning, and forecast alignment.
  • Drive customer-specific execution of assortment, placement, pricing, and promotional plans.
  • Develop and implement best-in-class shopper programs and retail media campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ANZ customer leadership.
  • Lead launch planning and flawless execution across retail platforms.
  • Partner closely with supply chain, marketing, finance, and digital teams.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the ANZ sales team.
  • 6+ years of experience in FMCG sales.
  • 3+ years owning key Australian retailer management at a senior level.
  • Strong command of ANZ retailer systems.
  • Experience leading shopper marketing and retail media strategy.
  • Proven track record of delivering P&L results, trade ROI, and joint business planning.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional executional rigor.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Position Impact

You will own the ANZ commercial strategy and full P&L. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for delivering category-beating growth across all ZURU Edge verticals (Beauty, Baby, Pet, Household & Confectionery).

You will drive execution excellence across the 4Ps (product, pricing, promotion, placement), lead joint business planning, own retail media and shopper strategy, and work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver sustainable, profitable growth. You will also play a key role in shaping national trade strategy and investment decisions in collaboration with the broader EDGE commercial leadership team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • P&L Ownership - Full accountability for ANZ sales and profit delivery across all categories.
  • Commercial Strategy - Lead annual channel strategies, joint business planning, and forecast alignment. Own pricing architecture, promotional frameworks, and margin optimization.
  • 4P Excellence - Drive customer-specific execution of assortment, placement, pricing, and promotional plans across in-store and online environments.
  • Trade Investment & Shopper Marketing - Develop and implement best-in-class shopper programs and retail media campaigns within retailer ecosystems. Partner with marketing to tailor brand activations for shopper conversion.
  • Customer Leadership - Serve as the primary point of contact for ANZ customer leadership, building multi-level relationships across merchandising, supply chain, digital, and operations functions.
  • Innovation Launches - Lead launch planning and flawless execution across retail platforms, ensuring speed-to-shelf, feature support, and sustained sell-through performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner closely with supply chain, marketing, finance, and digital teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop the ANZ sales team, fostering a high-performance culture that delivers results and builds future talent.

Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with 3+ years owning key Australian retailer management at a senior level
  • Strong command of ANZ retailer systems
  • Experience leading shopper marketing and retail media strategy
  • Proven track record of delivering P&L results, trade ROI, and joint business planning
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional executional rigor
  • Bachelor’s degree required
