Job Description

This role involves supporting the existing Sales team to develop tailored marketing and communication campaigns for pharmaceutical industry clients. Key responsibilities include conceiving customer solutions, acquiring sponsors, managing a national and international client base, overseeing project management from offer creation to reporting, ensuring qualitative customer development, and attending relevant conferences. We seek a curious, creative, and proactive individual with sales experience, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented approach to contribute to an international publishing group.
Must Have:
  • Several years of sales experience, ideally in medical, pharma, or biotech.
  • Strong service and customer orientation.
  • Exceptional communication talent, fluent in German and English.
  • Self-responsibility, reliability, and structured work approach.
  • Team player.
  • Conception of individual customer solutions.
  • Acquisition of sponsors from the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Intensive cultivation of national and international customer base.
  • Project management including offer creation and reporting.
  • Responsibility for qualitative customer development.
  • Participation in national and international conferences.

About the Role: You will support the existing Sales team and, in close coordination with the Sales Director, develop individual marketing and communication campaigns for our customers from the pharmaceutical industry. Your tasks include the following activities: * Conception of individual customer solutions (insertion campaigns, special publications, further training, events, digital projects such as videos, podcasts, etc.) * Acquisition of sponsors from the pharmaceutical industry * Intensive cultivation of a fixed national and international customer base * Project management: offer creation, handling of advertising materials, reporting and documentation in the internal CRM system * Responsibility for qualitative customer development * Participation in national and international conferences and meetings Your Profile: * Several years of sales experience in a relevant environment, ideally in the medical, pharmaceutical or biotech sector * Strong service and customer orientation * Exceptional communication talent (fluent in German and English) * Self-responsibility, reliability and a structured way of working * Team player For this diverse challenge, we are looking for a curious, creative and energetic personality who wants to actively shape their career in an internationally leading science and professional publishing group.
