SAP Datasphere Consultant / Specialist

Must Have

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and quality of the platform.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and data teams for smooth data flow.
• Support and optimize SQL-based data models and transformations.
• Apply solid understanding of data flows, pipeline structures, and integration.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for operations and incident handling.
• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.
• High standard of work quality and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Educational qualification: B.E., B.Tech.
• Overall experience around 3 to 5 years.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP BW, BW on HANA, or BW/4HANA with SQL coding expertise.
• Familiarity with SAC, HANA SQL Coding, Python.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)
• Ensure high availability, performance, and quality of the platform across development, test, and production environments
• Collaborate with infrastructure and data teams to ensure smooth data flow and platform integration
• Support and optimize SQL-based data models and transformations within the Datasphere environment
• Apply a solid understanding of data flows, pipeline structures, and integration between source systems and the analytics layer
• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for operations, procedures, and incident handling
• Participate in knowledge sharing, platform onboarding, and user enablement activities
• Present platform updates or issue resolutions confidently in team or customer-facing meetings
• Apply analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to identify trends, risks, and areas for optimization
• Maintain a high standard of work quality, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence

Skills:

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with SAP Datasphere
• Strong understanding of SQL development, data transformations, and query optimization
• Good understanding of data flow concepts, ETL processes, and pipeline monitoring
• Familiarity with databases and other relevant tools(SAP HANA, SAP BW / BWonHANA/ BW/4HANA, MS SQL, Oracle, Databricks)
• Analytical mindset and structured approach to troubleshooting and optimization
• Strong quality orientation and attention to detail
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude and customer-first mindset

Educational qualification:

B.E., B.Tech

Experience :
