The Savings Fund and Benefits Analyst is responsible for executing recurring activities related to the Savings Fund and Benefits for Mexico. This includes implementing processes according to business needs, ensuring timely execution of Savings Fund withdrawals, withdrawals, and loans. As a Benefits Analyst, the role supports GMM benefits and optional plans in Mexico, involving auditing policyholder lists, performing benefits audits in Workday, reviewing benefits interfaces, reporting deductions, supporting renewal processes, and communicating with employees.

  • Perform monthly savings fund reconciliations.
  • Monitor pensioners' savings fund status and collect payments.
  • Monitor and manage interfaces (Workday, PNET, SURA, Mercer).
  • Manage Savings Fund loan information with SURA.
  • Ensure accuracy of FA and Benefits information at employee level.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, PivotTable).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

The Savings Fund and Benefits Analyst is responsible for executing recurring activities related to the Savings Fund and Benefits for Mexico. Implementing processes according to business needs, focusing on ensuring they are executed in the best possible way and in a timely manner. These processes include the execution of Savings Fund withdrawals, withdrawals, and loans.

As Benefits Analyst you will be responsible for supporting activities related to GMM benefits and optional plans in Mexico, such as auditing policyholder lists, performing benefits audits in Workday and reviewing benefits interfaces, reporting deductions, supporting renewal processes, and communicating with employees.

My Role:

  • Updating Benefits and Savings Fund SharePoint accounts. Maintaining forms, updating documents, and addressing inboxes.
  • Creating and submitting Chubb files monthly.
  • Art. 492. You will be responsible for consolidating the files required by Art. 492 of the Insurance and Bonding Law before each benefit renewal.
  • Updating Benefits and Savings Fund contacts monthly.
  • Frequent communication with HR to follow up on Benefits and Savings Fund issues (recurring meetings, extraordinary meetings, announcements, etc.).
  • Requesting corrections to plants for Benefits and Savings Fund issues.
  • Centec promotions for policy changes (Technicians – Basic GMM).
  • Performing relocation calculations.
  • Sending certificates of active and discharge benefits.
  • Generating and sending monthly deductions for optional benefit plans.
  • Monthly savings fund reconciliations.
  • Monitoring pensioners' savings fund status, including updating banking information for pensioners and beneficiaries.
  • Collecting payments from disabled individuals and deduction letters.
  • Sending optional plan payment vouchers.
  • Solches expatriates' optional benefit plans.
  • Benefits and Savings Fund Metrics (weekly, monthly, annual).
  • Monthly audit of Centec/Tijuana and Dental policies.
  • Chubb dependent termination requests.
  • Support with Benefits renewal campaigns.
  • Support with activities to initiate and close the Savings Fund cycle.
  • Follow-up on extraordinary benefit cases (additions, terminations, changes, GMM extensions for terminations, GMM extensions for children over 25, and pending collections).
  • Sending credentials to newly hired employees.
  • Requesting beneficiary information in the event of a death and requesting payment from SURA.
  • Monitoring interfaces related to Benefits and Savings Funds (Workday, PNET, SURA, and Mercer).
  • Ensuring that employee interbank codes are updated in SURA.
  • Recording transfers in SURA on a weekly basis.
  • Perform weekly uploads, notifications, cancellations, and submission of Savings Fund loan information to SURA.
  • Register and deregister SURA users and monitor response times.
  • Perform, when required, BDR reviews or requests to ensure that FA and Benefits information is accurate at the employee level.
  • Participate in meetings with Mercer and SURA, and take minutes.
  • Support wellness campaigns, the Health Fair, and Financial Education fair.
  • Monitor the timely and correct release of Savings Fund checks.
  • Follow up on Savings Fund payment rejections, ensuring that the employee receives the corresponding amount in a timely manner.
  • Maintain communication with the HRIS group for any issues related to employee management in Workday.
  • Maintain communication with the PNET support group for any issues related to Benefits and Savings Fund data.
  • Communicate with internal finance and accounts payable groups to monitor Benefits billing.

My Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, PivotTable).
  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources or customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Intermediate English.
