Senior 3D Animator

Climax Studios was established nearly 30 years ago, we have an extensive history in developing all kinds of digital experiences across all formats, and we have won multiple awards along the way.

We have a state of the art studio located in the heart of the beautiful Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth overlooking the Harbour.

Climax Studios is looking for an experienced 3D Animator to join the team. You will create consistently high quality animations for in-game use, have an eye for detail and a feel for what works in game. Proven experience in UE5 as well as technical expertise with Maya.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate their skills and experience in the following:

• Experience creating realistic hand-keyed animations
• Show a sound understanding of animation principles
• Technically competent and have a thorough understanding of animation processes
• Respond well to feedback and act upon it
• Experience in UE5 and Maya
• Experience implementing motion capture data
• Good communicator and at ease working within a team
• Capable of working to tight deadlines when required
• Degree, related qualification or equivalent experience in Animation
• Demonstrate quality animation skills with good timing
• Strong folio including examples of realistic animation
