The EDC Retail team is focused on helping merchants grow and manage their businesses through simple, data-driven technology. The Senior Associate - KAM - EDC role involves increasing device sales among merchants in a specific area. This requires physical movement into micro-markets to identify and sell to quality merchants, while also minimizing fraud and chargeback risks through thorough merchant onboarding. The incumbent must adhere to team risk guidelines, visit merchants to resolve high-risk issues, and seek references from converted clients. Collaboration with various Business & Technology Teams within Paytm is essential to identify common bottlenecks, especially on the technology front. The role emphasizes being a brand ambassador for Paytm, embodying the principles of Stay Hungry, Stay Humble, Stay Relevant!
Must have:
  • Increase sales of devices amongst merchants

About the team: EDC Retail EDC is one of Paytms business tool to help merchant grow and manage their business through simplicity and data driven technology.

Expectations/ Requirements:

The incumbent will be expected to increase sales of our devices amongst merchants in a specified area.
The role will require physical movement into micro markets, identifying and selling to good quality merchants.
Minimize risks of fraud, chargebacks by ensuring good quality of merchant onboarding
Adhere to the risk guidelines shared by the team. Visit merchant and resolve issues highlighted as high risk.
Seek references of other good merchants from the converted clients
Engage with various Business & Technology Teams within Paytm to identify common bottlenecks esp. on Technology front.
Be a brand ambassador for Paytm Stay Hungry, Stay Humble, Stay Relevant!
