Job Summary
The Senior Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for driving audiovisual and broadcast integration projects, including video production studios, corporate event centers, and commercial sound systems. The role involves creating detailed system design drawings using AutoCAD, and applying knowledge of broadcast technology standards like SMPTE ST 2110 and SDI. The engineer will also be expected to manage projects, troubleshoot IT networks, and collaborate with engineering resources to meet project timelines. This position requires adhering to engineering processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to conduct research for technical solutions.

- Exceptional proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Ability to independently create and refine detailed system design drawings, including elevations, wiring schematics, connector details, and complete build packages.
- Strong capability to translate technical and functional requirements into comprehensive AutoCAD documentation.
- Proficiency in creating build packages and technical documentation.
- Exceptional proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Broadcast Technology Standards Knowledge:
- Advanced knowledge of SMPTE ST 2110, SDI, AES67, Dante, data networking, router control protocols, and cloud technology.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years in systems integration projects in Media & Entertainment (M&E) and Audiovisual industry.
- Hands-on experience in design engineering, systems testing, and commissioning.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical training required.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- SMPTE ST 2110, IT Networking, Cloud-related certifications.
- Broadcast Engineering Background:
- Experience in live broadcast or post-production facility design and operation.
Location & Travel:
Must be based in California, with the ability to travel as needed (approximately 30%).
