Nasdaq Technology is seeking a passionate Senior Business Analyst to join the Fintech’s Shareholding Disclosure Product Team in Mumbai/Pune, India. This role focuses on the day-to-day monitoring and in-depth analysis of Buy Side regulatory rules across multiple jurisdictions to build and enhance the product. Key responsibilities include researching regulatory changes, developing comprehensive product specifications, assisting development and quality assurance teams in implementation and testing, and providing support for pre-sales activities and client engagement. The ideal candidate will contribute to ensuring the solution remains compliant with all regulatory requirements.
Good To Have:
Previous experience working on any region's Substantial Holding, Short Selling or Takeover Panel reporting regulations.
Previous experience in Regulatory Change Management, preferably in the Asset Management industry.
Previous experience of working on regulations like EMIR, SFTR, Dodd-Frank, etc.
Must Have:
Engage in research on various regulatory change logic and implement them into the solution.
Write solution specifications including Business Requirements and Functional Specifications.
Perform detailed analysis of various jurisdictional regulations.
Regularly monitor regulatory rule updates to ensure solution compliance.
Navigate Controller View platform to understand regulatory requirements implementation.
Liaise with the development team, providing business knowledge.
Guide the Quality Assurance team on scenarios, reviewing test cases and results.
Support the Pre-sales team in conducting Proof of Concepts and demos.
Engage with existing clients to understand business scenarios.
At least 4-7 years of regulatory reporting experience as a business or regulatory change analyst.
Experience in reviewing regulations and translating requirements into functional specifications.
Good understanding of key financial products, especially equity-based instruments.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multifaceted team.
Highly organized and methodical approach to analysis.
Results oriented and self-motivated demeanor.
Ability to work under pressure and meet exacting deadlines.

As a Senior Business Analyst, your focus will be Analysing the regulatory space, developing the Product Specifications and assist Development and Quality Assurance teams in implementing and testing of the software solution. Besides working closely with your colleagues in UK, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries. Your primary responsibilities will be:
Engage in research on various regulatory change logic, owning the analysis and implementation of them into the solution.
Write solution specifications including Business Requirements and Functional Specifications for the solution development team.
Perform detailed analysis of various jurisdictional regulations, received either through AoSphere or directly from regulators.
Regularly monitor regulatory rule updates, ensuring solution remains fit-for-purpose with all regulatory requirements.
Navigate our Controller View platform to better understand the implementation of the regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions.
Liaise with the development team, providing business knowledge to ensure business requirements are clearly understood.
Guide the Quality Assurance team on scenarios to be tested, reviewing test cases and results.
Support the Pre-sales team in conducting Proof of Concepts and demos to potential clients.
Engage with existing clients to understand their business scenarios where required and act as a representative of the GSD Team in these conversations.
We expect you to have:
At least 4-7 years of regulatory reporting experience, as a business or regulatory change analyst
Experience in reviewing regulations and translating the requirements into functional specifications/business requirement documents
Good understanding of key financial products, particularly equity-based instruments and a good understanding of the trade lifecycle of these instruments
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team in a multifaceted environment - especially key is working and presenting with more technically-inclined colleagues
Highly organized and methodical approach to analysis
Results oriented and self-motivated demeanor and
Ability to work under pressure and meet exacting deadlines.
It would be great if you have:
