Job Description

The Senior Client Manager at Landor will manage client accounts, understanding their business challenges and leveraging Landor's capabilities for client satisfaction and profitable growth. Responsibilities include writing proposals, ensuring high-quality deliverables, leading client calls, managing project timelines and budgets, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve business outcomes. This role requires strong client relationship and project management skills.
Must Have:
  • Manage a series of client accounts and understand their business
  • Confidently talk to all of Landor’s capabilities to grow existing business
  • Write clear, compelling project proposals and scopes of work
  • Partner with departments to ensure delivery of on-time, high-quality deliverables
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly in written, oral, and presentation forms
  • Lead regular client status calls and manage client status reporting
  • Ensure all client-facing materials are error-free, high-quality, and relevant
  • Accountable for delivering all agreed-upon projects, on time, on budget, and on scope
  • Stay in close contact with resource management and Business Director for adequate resourcing
  • Work with Client Leader to address pricing, payment, and scope creep challenges
  • Work with Finance Team on reporting, invoicing, debt collection, and budget management
  • Provide back-up and archiving of key client deliverables
  • Experience in a similar role within a brand consultancy, advertising agency, business consultancy or similar
  • Comfortable managing stakeholders at varying levels up to brand manager level
  • Excellent project management and relationship building skills
  • Strategic thinker – confident when inputting into strategic creative work
  • Appetite for understanding the Landor offer, for new information, new business and new ideas
  • Financially savvy – can articulate and understand financial goals for the business
  • Capable of motivating and encouraging junior team members

What you’ll do

The Senior Client Manager manages a series of client accounts. They have a deep understanding of their client’s business and challenges, partnered with a strong understanding of brand and Landor’s capabilities, to enable client satisfaction and profitable business growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Has an excellent and comprehensive understanding of the client and their business
  • Confidently talks to all of Landor’s capabilities and uses this knowledge to seek ways to grow existing business and add value to other new business pursuits
  • Can write clear, compelling project proposals and scopes of work.
  • Partners and effectively supports all departments to ensure delivery of on-time, high-quality deliverables that address all relevant prospective client requirements.
  • Partners effectively with all departments to ensure delivery of on-time, high-quality deliverables that address all relevant prospective client requirements, including the ability to coherently argue the case where work is considered off brief or in need of refinement.
  • Communicates findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner in written, oral and presentation forms.
  • Leads regular client status calls and manages client status reporting
  • Ensures all correspondence, materials, presentations and proposals seen by prospective and existing clients are error-free, of highest quality, relevant to the client’s business challenges, and reflective of Landor’s brand
  • Is accountable for delivering all agreed-upon projects, on time, on budget, and on scope.
  • Stays in close contact with resource management and the BusinessDirector (or Client Director) to ensure projects are resourced adequately, in alignment with scope and budget.
  • Work with Client Leader to address and resolve pricing, payment and scope creep challenges
  • Work with Finance Team on the finance reporting, invoicing, debt collection, timesheet completion, budget management, proactive management of forecast and revenue for their clients
  • Provides back-up and archiving of key client deliverables, credentials, and case histories.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in a similar role within a brand consultancy, advertising agency, business consultancy or similar
  • Comfortable managing stakeholders at varying levels up to brand manager level
  • Excellent project management and relationship building skills, but respectful of and comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Strategic thinker – confident when inputting into strategic creative work, through the lens of the client’s brief, enabling them to input and recommend clear next steps and actions
  • Appetite for understanding the Landor offer, for new information, new business and new ideas
  • Financially savvy – can articulate and understand financial goals for the business and for team members
  • Capable of motivating and encouraging junior team members
