About the Role:

We’re seeking a motivated Senior Data Analytics Engineer with strong experience in JVM programming (Java, Scala…), Spark, and other streaming frameworks. As a Senior Developer, you’ll help build solutions on the Sitecore XM Cloud while collaborating closely with the Leads, Architects and Product teams across Europe and Kuala Lumpur.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, maintain, and ship components/projects for Sitecore XM Cloud.
• Write high-quality code in a variety of languages and environments.
• Clarify user stories, acceptance criteria, and task breakdowns to deliver business value.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for consistent and reliable solution delivery.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure reliable and scalable deployments. Maintain close collaboration and effective communication with the Engineering Manager, Product Owner, team members, and other stakeholders.
• Guide junior developers, conducting code reviews and promoting engineering best practices; support the Engineering Manager to execute strategy on team performance.
• Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies, contributing to iterative development cycles.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Proficiency in JVM languages and Python
• Experience with streaming processes and frameworks like Flink, batch processing jobs like Spark.
• Experience with Docker, AKS, and Kubernetes Helm Charts for deploying systems
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (Microsoft Azure) and containerized deployments
• Experience in working with version control systems: Git and branching strategy
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, etc.) and NoSQL DB (like Azure Cosmos DB o time-series DBs).
• Strong knowledge of Authorization, especially OAuth 2.0 and experience in CI/CD setup, especially GitHub workflow
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for performance, tracing, and debugging.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

• CubeJS knowledge.
• Modular and config / data-driven development.
• Experience in Postman.
• Working experience in a SaaS based company or project is a plus.
