Job Summary

As a Senior Engineer / Staff Engineer Process Integration, you will be responsible for complex integration modules in IC technologies. Your role involves analyzing data, leading problem-solving teams, defining corrective measures, and optimizing product yield and quality. You will identify yield detractors, evaluate production trials, and report on yields. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, creativity, and a collaborative mindset, with a focus on efficient and innovative processes.

Must Have

  • Taking responsibility for a complex integration module for multiple IC technologies
  • Analyzing data from parameter tests, functional tests, and manufacturing processes using modern analysis methods and tools
  • Leading teams to solve complex problems in the overall process
  • Definition of corrective and improvement measures
  • Optimization of the yield and quality of our complex Infineon products
  • Identification and analysis of yield detractors (design, testing, technology)
  • Evaluating production trials and implementing improvements in collaboration with experts from various departments
  • Regular reporting on yields to internal and external partners
  • Further development and application of digitization methods in the field of data analysis
  • A university degree in microelectronics, electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable technical field
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally in the field of process integration
  • Confident communication in English and German

Good to Have

  • PhD is an advantage
  • Good to very good methodological skills (8D, T6S, FMEA)

Key responsibilities in your new role

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • A university degree in microelectronics, electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable technical field, PhD is an advantage
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally in the field of process integration
  • Good to very good methodological skills (8D, T6S, FMEA)
  • Confident communication in English and German
