What You'll Bring:

We’re looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our growing team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

Day to Day You’ll Be:

• Joining an established team responsible for our Web and batch tracing products.
• Collaborating closely with database and software engineers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs through both manual and automated testing.
• Participating in Agile development ceremonies such as planning, task refinement, and retrospectives.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to support effective communication and delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Track record years of relevant work experience in software testing area
• Knowledge of test automation techniques and tools (ideally reqnroll and/or selenium)
• Experience of using Microsoft SQL server
• Effective test design, test planning and scheduling capability
• Web service and/or relational database testing experience
• Knowledge of source control
• Strong problem solving skills

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Experience of using Postman/Insomnia for API testing
• Experience of working in an Agile development team
• Ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders including operational teams.
• Ability to take initiative for improvements, identifying and mitigating risks
