Job Description
Position Summary
Trek Bicycle Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Financial Analyst to join our Global Supply Chain Finance team in Taiwan. This role will support our global operations by partnering closely with Trek’s finance teams in the U.S., Europe, and Asia to ensure accurate costing, inventory valuation, and financial insights that drive better decision-making across the supply chain.
This is a high-impact role that blends strong analytical skills with cross-functional collaboration, supporting Trek’s mission to deliver world-class products efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Global Costing Support
- Assist the Taiwan Finance Manager with quoting analytics, including cost breakdowns and trend analysis.
- Communicate key drivers of cost changes to global stakeholders and ensure accurate entry into Trek’s PLM and ERP systems.
- Support the should-cost process by analyzing bills of material (BOMs) for accuracy and validating supplier quotes.
- Supplier Currency & Cost Management
- Manage supplier currency agreements and monitor FX impacts.
- Communicate changes and impact estimates to key business partners across sourcing, product, and finance teams.
- Regional Finance Partnership
- Develop into a key finance contact for Trek’s APAC subsidiary, supporting costing and variance resolution.
- Collaborate with regional teams to address supply chain costing issues, including deadstock inventory, tooling investments, and other operational cost drivers.
- Continuous Improvement & Audit Support
- Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives across finance and operations.
- Support supplier audits and cost transparency efforts to enhance financial accuracy and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or supply chain finance.
- Strong Excel skills required; experience with Power BI or other analytics tools a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred).
- Strong analytical, organizational, presentation skills, with the ability to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-cultural environment.
- Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English (written and verbal). Excellent English communication skills are essential.
