Senior Financial Analyst, Decision Support Center of Excellence

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with commercial team to provide strategic and tactical business support that guides and influences key decision makers in the achievement of business objectives
• Implement improvements to planning and reporting processes and enhance leveraging of systems and tools
• Provide objective and relevant analysis and modeling to support the development of various projects and reports
• Provision of commercial systems, processes, reports, and management information that enable analysis, recommendations, and review of actions for business opportunities, projects, and gap closure
• Modify and develop new reports to deliver enhanced information and insights
• Develop compelling dashboards and data visualizations using field-proven formats using complex coding languages such as SQL, DAX, VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot, Macros, etc…
• Implement reporting best practices and automation into existing reports
• Collaborate with various high-level executives and business partners to identify reporting gaps and create solutions
• Identify and analyze efficiencies in the business to drive change and automation, increase revenue and build a strong stakeholder engagement
• Ability to embrace ambiguity and break down complex problems to provide clear and effective recommendations
• Utilize advanced presentation and visualization software to effectively communicate analysis/results to key stakeholders
• Partner with the broader Finance organization to build robust analytical models, tools and processes and provide superior service to business partners/internal clients
• Able to work effectively in a highly complex matrix environment, with a proven ability to influence without formal authority and achieve results through people
• Understands the link between excellence in data acquisition/warehousing/insights, and how to leverage this as a competitive advantage in the marketplace

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Advanced skillset and/or super user in programs such as:
  • SQL
  • Power BI
  • Tableau
  • Power Query
  • Power Pivot
  • Power Automate
  • Mail Merge
  • Excel (including macros)
  • DAX
  • VBA
• Ability to connect multiple systems together for analytics, including but not limited to, TM1, Sales Force, excel, etc…
• 2+ years of experience in similar positions
• Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools (e.g. TM1, Hyperion)
• Business and industry acumen
