Job Summary
This role is for a Senior Gameplay Programmer responsible for developing systems and tools in Unreal Engine, collaborating with designers and technical directors, and acting as a technical point of contact. The position requires over 4 years of game development experience, proficiency with Unreal Engine, and a passion for creating engaging player experiences. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to relocate to Irvine, California for on-site work.
Must Have
- Programming systems and tools within Unreal in line with performance, modularity and scalability requirements
- Work with designers to create a variety of gameplay systems in Unreal
- Collaborate with the Technical Director and other programmers to deliver high quality tools and systems
- Be a point of contact for all technical issues related to Unreal Engine and its tools
- Suggest and drive improvements to the game by creating and implementing new systems
- 4+ years of professional game development experience
- Unreal Engine experience
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be willing to relocate and work on-site in Irvine, California
