Job Description

As a Senior Gameplay Programmer at 11 bit studios, you will be responsible for prototyping, developing, and maintaining gameplay features for 'The Alters'. This role involves implementing and supporting cutscenes and dialogues using UE Sequencer, debugging and optimizing gameplay code, and collaborating closely with design, animation, and audio teams. You will also share knowledge within the programming team, contributing to a seamless integration of features.
Good To Have:
  • Experience working with AI or rendering systems
  • Familiarity with Wwise or other audio middleware
  • Having worked to completion on at least one published title
  • Experience with PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S development
Must Have:
  • Prototyping, developing and maintaining gameplay features
  • Implementing and supporting cutscenes and dialogues using Sequencer
  • Debugging and optimizing gameplay code
  • Sharing knowledge and experience within the programming team
  • Collaborating closely with design, animation, and audio teams
  • At least 3 years of professional experience working with Unreal Engine 4/5
  • Knowledge of and experience in working with UE Sequencer
  • Strong practical knowledge of C++
  • Solid understanding of gameplay mechanics in modern video games

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position,
  • At least 3 years of professional experience working with Unreal Engine 4/5,
  • Knowledge of and experience in working with UE Sequencer,
  • Strong practical knowledge of C++,
  • Solid understanding of gameplay mechanics in modern video games,
  • Ability to take ownership and work iteratively on features from design to delivery,
  • Good communication skills,
  • Good knowledge of English (B2 level minimum).

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with AI or rendering systems,
  • Familiarity with Wwise or other audio middleware,
  • Having worked to completion on at least one published title,
