We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Senior HR Business Partner who thrives in dynamic environments, loves working with high-performing teams, and is driven to shape inclusive, engaging, and high-impact cultures.
In this role, you’ll partner with leaders across Activision Blizzard EMEA and King, giving you the opportunity to influence at scale and contribute meaningfully across our organisation. This is a unique opportunity to support multiple parts of our business.
Within King, you’ll partner with Shared Tech the powerhouse behind our games, delivering engineering, product, AI, and machine learning excellence at scale. You’ll work with some of our most talented engineers and technical leaders to help unlock their full potential. In parallel, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to Activision Blizzard’s Go-to-Market (GTM) team, who lead franchise marketing and communications for our biggest titles. In addition, you’ll also support our Corporate Functions across both Activision Blizzard and King, including Finance, HR, IT, Information Security, and more. This is a highly varied and visible role where you’ll influence people strategies across diverse disciplines making every day different and impactful.
Reporting into the Senior People Director and as a key individual of the People Team, you’ll play a key role in driving impactful people initiatives that support the company’s strategic goals and help foster a culture of excellence. You will co-create and execute business strategies across the end-to-end employee life cycle with a particular focus on talent management, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement as well as partnering and coaching your stakeholders to integrate our culture and values into our employee experience.
You will be passionate about all thing’s people, getting to know the business, and providing pragmatic solutions to their everyday challenges. Curious, with an eye for detail, data, and employee relation matters, you will be driven and will thrive in creating great workplaces, working on a complete cycle of HR services, and establishing trusted partnership with the business.
You will be a collaborative, influential and skilled at navigating a complex matrix organization you will partner closely with Center of Excellence (COE) and global HR partners to deliver impactful, results-driven initiatives.

Your role
- Establish a true partnership with a diverse set of managers, influence people-related decisions and be accountable for creating and driving elements of the people strategy for your area
- Partner managers across the business to support and drive all people related processes, topics, and priorities. This will include performance management, talent identification, org design, employee engagement & communications, managing bonus and merit processes, ensuring recognition and reward attracts and retains talent
- Apply HR expertise and business acumen to establish a trusted partnership with a diverse set of business leaders, coaching, advising, and supporting them with their people plans, talent needs and employee relations support
- Be accountable for completing talent planning, succession, assessments, and similar processes that drive the people strategy with high quality and integrity
- Drive organisational development, re-design, change & engagement in your areas. Including project management and employee communications.
- You will have strong initiative, creativity, and facilitation skills, supporting leaders and teams with workshops, career and development sessions, engagement, and high performing team initiatives
- Work closely with HR Centres of Expertise (CoE) to resolve complex and challenging problems through innovative and agile thinking
- Actively drive D&I strategy looking at how this can be improved for your business units across all touch points of the Employee lifecycle. Support initiatives and actively contribute to embed D&I nudges across HR processes
- Champion our values and culture, being a role model and supporting the continual embedding of them in everything we do.
- You will have a growth mindset, prioritise your own growth and development and be curious about understanding and driving external benchmarks across both functional and HR areas.
- Use data and HR metrics to gain insights and inform talent decisions, workforce planning, and HR strategy development.
- Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives that contribute to the broader People Team and organizational objectives.
Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated track record of operating as a HR Business Partner role partnering leaders at all levels
- Ability to build trusted relationships and experience in influencing senior stakeholders and partnering with leaders to drive high-performance teams.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic HR partner in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ideally within a global or matrixed organization.
- Results orientated combined with commercial acumen and a focus on achieving results through effective HR strategies that support business goals.
- Change Agent: Ability to lead and support organizational change,
- Ability to manage all elements of organisational transformation, think strategically, manage operationally
- Employee Relations knowledge with the ability to coach and advise managers and drive necessary actions
- Mediation skills, with the ability to guide and support to successful conflict resolution.
- Desire to drive continuous improvement in HR processes and practices and lead on facilitation, and training
- Excellent project managing skills with experience of owning and manage cyclical people processes and projects
- Data driven with the ability to use data to demonstrate insights, inform decisions and visualize it to influence others through storytelling
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization, tailoring messaging for diverse audiences.
- Business Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) essential.
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in technology, digital entertainment, or similar industries.
- International experience
- International HR Business Partnering experience in a matrix organisation, partnering across multiple regions or business units.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and HR data systems.
