Job Summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Cloud Platform Datacenter Sr. Manager to lead planning, build, and operations across the global IPP (Infrastructure, Planning and Process) data center footprint. This role is critical to scaling NVIDIA’s private cloud infrastructure. It supports AI, HPC, and advanced compute workloads powering the company’s most innovative products and services. The manager will lead a distributed team, partner with product, engineering, and operations teams, and drive end-to-end datacenter lifecycle management. They will also develop frameworks for efficiency, lead global lab consolidation, manage vendor relationships, and identify process improvements.

Must Have

  • Lead datacenter buildout, operations, and planning at a strategic level.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate needs into datacenter capacity and build requirements.
  • Drive end-to-end datacenter lifecycle management—forecasting, capacity planning, build execution, and operations.
  • Collaborate with system, software, mechanical, and thermal engineering teams to deliver datacenter and lab facilities timely and within technical specifications.
  • Develop frameworks and metrics to improve datacenter efficiency, reliability, and operational speed.
  • Lead global lab consolidation initiatives, integrating NVIDIA Labs into the NVIDIA Private Cloud.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure datacenter delivery standards are met through measurable benchmarks.
  • Identify process improvements in datacenter build and operational workflows and implement scalable guidelines.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ overall years of relevant experience in datacenter, infrastructure, or operations-focused engineering roles.
  • 4+ years of management experience in large-scale, distributed technology organizations.
  • Deep understanding of datacenter and cloud infrastructure build, automation, and orchestration systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and influence diverse collaborators.
  • Proven ability to identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and complete complex infrastructure projects across geographies.

Good to Have

  • Experience in extensive QA settings, for product bring ups.
  • Worked with high performance or large scale computing environments, parallel computing, or CUDA.
  • Is involved with converged and hyper-converged hardware and servers.
  • Has worked in extensive Datacenter operations settings.
  • Deep understanding of cloud architecture in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and security.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 248,000 USD - 396,750 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
