Job Description

Team Liquid is seeking a Senior Manager, Global People & Organizational Development to bridge business and people strategy. This role involves partnering with management to create clarity, growth, and impact by designing frameworks for job architecture, career progression, people development, performance management, engagement, wellbeing, and culture. The manager will also coach, facilitate workshops, deliver learning programs, and build systems to empower global employees.
Must have:
  • Shape people-first strategies in fast-moving, global environments.
  • Partner with management to turn business strategy into people strategies.
  • Build frameworks for growth tracks, role clarity, and career progression.
  • Design and update people-first policies and processes.
  • Create and run leadership development programs.
  • Provide coaching and facilitation to managers and high-potential talent.
  • Oversee design and delivery of the performance cycle.
  • Train managers on feedback, coaching, and performance conversations.
  • Run engagement rhythm: surveys, pulses, feedback loops, and action planning.
  • Oversee global culture moments and partner with Employee Resource Groups.
  • Develop wellbeing programs.
  • Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and create learning solutions.
  • Manage learning platforms and facilitate workshops.
  • 7-10 years of experience in People and Organizational Development in high-growth environments.
  • Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field.
  • Hands-on expertise in at least four areas: people development, performance, engagement, organizational design, learning, or wellbeing.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
  • Proven ability to enable the growth of managers and high-potential staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-informed mindset.
  • Experience building effective teams and fostering teamwork across regions.
  • Comfortable working globally across regions, cultures, and time zones.
  • Fluent in English.
Good to have:
  • Experience designing job architectures, leveling frameworks, and career progression models.
  • Experience with skills frameworks and performance system design.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and learning platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, BambooHR, EdApp, or similar).
  • Experience in organizational design and change management.

You’ll design frameworks for job architecture, career progression, people development, performance management, engagement, wellbeing, and culture. You’ll also take a hands-on approach, coaching managers, facilitating workshops, delivering learning programs, and building systems that empower employees globally.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Organizational Development & Growth
  • Partner with management to turn business strategy into people strategies that scale.
  • Build frameworks for growth tracks, role clarity, and career progression.
  • Design and update policies and processes that are people-first and enable growth.
  • Development & Coaching
  • Create and run leadership development programs that build capability at all levels.
  • Provide coaching and facilitation to managers and high-potential talent.
  • Build toolkits, workshops, and spaces that empower employees to thrive in their roles.
  • Performance Management
  • Oversee the design and delivery of the performance cycle, including goals, reviews, calibrations.
  • Train managers on feedback, coaching, and performance conversations.
  • Use data and insights to improve the process and link performance to business outcomes.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Run the engagement rhythm: surveys, pulses, feedback loops, and action planning.
  • Oversee culture moments globally, such as AMAs, Huddles, Game Days, Summer and Year-End events.
  • Partner with Employee Resource Groups to make sure they have the structure and guidance to create impact.
  • Wellbeing & People Programs
  • Develop wellbeing programs that address both proactive guidance and response.
  • Partner with managers to build healthy team practices and prevent burnout.
  • Ensure employees are supported through the ups and downs of work and growth.
  • Learning & Development
  • Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and create learning solutions.
  • Manage learning platforms and ensure access to development opportunities globally.
  • Facilitate workshops, training, and peer learning sessions that are practical and engaging.

What You’ll Need

  • 7–10 years of experience in People and Organizational Development roles in high-growth environments (e.g., startups, scale-ups, or other fast-moving organizations).
  • Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (or related field).
  • Hands-on expertise in at least four areas: people development, performance, engagement, organizational design, learning, or wellbeing.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills, comfortable working with managers and teams at all levels.
  • Proven ability to enable the growth of managers and high-potential staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-informed mindset, able to translate insights into action.
  • Experience building effective teams and fostering teamwork across regions.
  • Comfortable working globally across regions, cultures, and time zones.
  • Fluent in English (other languages a plus).

You'll Earn Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience designing job architectures, leveling frameworks, and career progression models.
  • Experience with skills frameworks and performance system design.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and learning platforms (e.g. SuccessFactors, BambooHR, EdApp, or similar).
