Job Description

Team Liquid is seeking a Talent Strategist to manage commercial representation for creators and esports players, focusing on building brand partnerships across gaming, tech, and lifestyle sectors. This role involves end-to-end management of brand deals, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and campaign delivery, ensuring alignment with Team Liquid's goals and measurable commercial outcomes. The strategist will drive outbound sales, manage talent relationships, and coordinate contract negotiations to expand the commercial footprint of talent in the EU.
Good To Have:
  • An existing NL/EU brand or agency buyer network.
  • Experience in esports, gaming creators, or youth digital culture.
  • Experience in structuring deals, pricing models, rights, usage, and exclusivity.
Must Have:
  • Work with internal teams to prospect, pitch, and close brand partnerships that drive commercial growth for TL talent.
  • Own outbound sales: build a pipeline, identify opportunities, pitch talent, negotiate deals, and grow net-new EU/NL partnerships.
  • Manage talent relationships and develop long-term commercial strategy for assigned creators/players.
  • Coordinate brand and agency contract negotiations on behalf of talent.
  • Plan and execute talent-focused campaigns that align with business goals.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue closed, pipeline progress, utilization, campaign impact, and audience engagement.
  • 5+ years representing creators, influencers, or esports players—pitching them, managing their commercial opportunities, and closing deals.
  • Proven experience pitching talent to brands/agencies and negotiating mid-to-large-scale paid creator or talent partnerships directly.
  • Strong outbound sales background with a track record of building a revenue pipeline and closing brand deals (non-negotiable).
  • Deep familiarity with creator monetization, market pricing, EU brand categories, and creator–brand fit insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple commercial opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to travel for shoots, events, and brand engagements.

The Opportunity:

Are you ready to pitch creators/players, negotiate high-value deals, and expand their commercial footprint across the EU? If so, you could be a perfect fit for the Talent Strategist, EU role we currently have available at Team Liquid.

As the Talent Strategist, you’ll oversee the commercial representation of Team Liquid’s creators and esports players, managing brand partnerships end-to-end—from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and campaign delivery. You’ll work closely with internal teams to create opportunities that align with Team Liquid’s goals and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

In addition to managing outbound sales for talent, you’ll ensure campaigns meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue, audience growth, and engagement. Your ability to manage relationships with both talent and external partners, while increasing brand deal volume and fan engagement, will be essential to the ongoing success of our roster.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Commercial Partnerships & Outbound Sales
  • Work with internal teams to prospect, pitch, and close brand partnerships that drive commercial growth for TL talent.
  • Own outbound sales: build a pipeline, identify opportunities, pitch talent, negotiate deals, and grow net-new EU/NL partnerships.
  • Oversee Influencer Sales Development by securing new partnerships with talent and brands that generate revenue.
  • Talent Representation & Relationship Management
  • Manage talent relationships and develop long-term commercial strategy for assigned creators/players.
  • Ensure all opportunities align with Team Liquid’s brand values, performance goals, and talent growth plans.
  • Contract Negotiations
  • Coordinate brand and agency contract negotiations on behalf of talent, ensuring terms guide long-term commercial success.
  • Oversee contract negotiations with influencers, securing arrangements that benefit both talent and Team Liquid.
  • Campaign & KPI Management
  • Plan and execute talent-focused campaigns that align with business goals.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue closed, pipeline progress, utilization, campaign impact, and audience engagement.
  • Team Guidance & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Offer day-to-day guidance to junior team members supporting talent operations, ensuring alignment on deliverables and expectations.
  • Process Improvement
  • Improve sales processes, prospecting frameworks, and commercial playbooks to scale outbound success.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years representing creators, influencers, or esports players—pitching them, managing their commercial opportunities, and closing deals.
