Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing & Partnership Manager to drive marketing and business development for artists and tracks, aiming for success in Thailand and international markets. Responsibilities include creating and executing marketing strategies, building artist and partner relationships, and maximizing revenue. The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans across digital and traditional platforms, identifying new business opportunities, managing relationships with industry professionals, and collaborating with internal teams for integrated campaigns. Analysis of market trends and consumer behavior is crucial. The position also requires budget management, contract negotiation, and staying updated with industry developments and digital platforms. Leadership and mentorship of junior team members are expected. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Marketing or a related field, proven marketing and sales experience with a focus on artist/brand development and partnerships, strong understanding of the Thai consumer landscape, excellent communication skills, and analytical abilities.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Music Business, Advertising, or Media.
  • Proven marketing and sales experience with a passion for revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of Thai consumer landscape and Gen Z, Alpha, Y demographics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in both digital and traditional marketing.
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and negotiations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Job Details

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing & Partnership Manager, who has relentless drive to win and hunger to create impactful success both in Thailand and international markets, to join our team at Sony Music Thailand.  

In this role, you will be responsible for driving the marketing and business development activities for our artists & tracks, helping them achieve their full potential in the music industry.

You will play a key role in creating and implementing effective creative marketing strategies, building strong relationships with artists and partners, maximizing revenue & profit opportunities.

What you'll do:

•    Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans for both digital and traditional platforms to promote artists & tracks, ensuring maximum visibility and creative brand expression in every strategic channels, build lasting engagement with fans.
•    Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the reach of our business.
•    Build and maintain relationships with artists, managers, agencies, outsources, media partners, brand partners, collection society, government and other industry professionals to foster collaboration and growth.
•    Collaborate with internal teams, including A&R, Legal, DSP, Marketing Communication, Digital Operation and creative services, to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
•    Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, driving forces in domestic economy and consumer behavior to identify new opportunities and improve marketing strategies.
•    Manage budgets, contracts, and negotiations related to artist and partner development initiatives.
•    Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and digital platforms to drive innovation and stay ahead of the competition.
•    Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

 

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, Music Business, Advertising and Media or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing & sales, strong drive/passion for revenue target achievement with a laser-focus on artist or brand development and partnership management.
  • Strong understanding of the Thailand consumer landscape, including trends, platforms, and consumer behavior, particularly in the Gen Z, Alpha, Y demographic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with artists, partners, agencies, and industry professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively develop, drive and execute successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent in both digital & traditional marketing.
  • Experience with details in managing budgets, contracts, and negotiations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of initiative and ability to multitask.
