Job Summary
Within the Howrse team, a web and mobile horse breeding and management game, you will work under the responsibility of the Producer and in close collaboration with local production teams and the headquarters. As a Senior Monetization Manager, you will be responsible for the game’s monetization strategy. You will act as a true strategic partner, ensuring commercial performance and overall coherence of live operations. Your responsibilities related to the management of game monetization will include analyzing hard currency flow, developing strategies balancing player engagement and revenue, and optimizing Live Ops structure.
Must Have
- Analyze the flow of hard currency and strategically adjust monetization offerings to maximize revenue performance.
- Develop and implement monetization strategies that balance player engagement and revenue growth.
- Build, plan, and optimize the Live Ops structure that drives the project’s annual commercial performance.
- Define the format and content of commercial offers and adjust schedules according to objectives.
- Ensure the production of planned operations with Development, Design, Tech, Art, and Community Management teams.
- Provide regular reporting to the Producer and HQ.
- Collaborate with AdMon experts at HQ to define and execute a strategy for optimizing ad revenue (mobile and web).
- Challenge existing processes to modernize Live Ops practices (segmentation, A/B testing, etc.).
- Play a strategic partner role with Design, Tech, and Art teams to guide feature prioritization while integrating acquisition and monetization considerations.
- Experience in gaming industry, particularly within monetization and revenue strategy.
- Proven experience as a Monetization Manager or Live Ops Manager in the video game industry, ideally on mobile and web projects.
- Ability to analyze player behavior and spending patterns to optimize revenue.
- Experience of strategizing and executing monetization plans for live games.
- Experience managing monetization and/or user acquisition in commercially critical games.
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Strong knowledge of product strategy, Live Operations, and monetization optimization.
- Proficient with analytics tools and performance indicators (KPI, LTV, ARPDAU, etc.).
- Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to unite teams around common goals.
- Strong interest in dynamic environments, taking initiative, and product curiosity.
