Senior Narrative Designer / Story Writer

4A Games is looking for a Senior Narrative Designer/Story Writer to develop immersive storytelling and engaging player experiences. This role involves creating, pitching, writing, and maintaining storylines and dialogues for games, working with plot, lore, and characters. The designer will collaborate with the Creative Team and other Designers, write pitches and dialogues for cut-scenes, help update game scripts, and develop character arcs.

Must Have

• Creating, pitching, writing, and maintaining story lines and dialogues for games
• Working with plot, lore, and characters of games' universes
• Collaborating closely with Creative Team and Designers
• Participating in story line meetings and brainstorm sessions
• Writing pitches and dialogues for cut-scenes
• Helping create and update game script
• Developing Characters' arches and tracing their evolution
• Writing dialogues for side stories and quests
• Maintaining order in dialogue database for localization
• Native Ukrainian proficiency
• Journalism or writers' education
• 4+ years of experience in screenwriting or creative copywriting
• Experience writing fiction and documentary texts and stories
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Genuine interest and passion in video games
• Ability to create and develop character arcs
• Knowledge of dramatic and storytelling techniques
• Experience working with story-based digital production (TV, drama, documentaries, film)
• Mentoring other Narrative Designers

RESPONSIBILITIES

> We are seeking for a talented Narrative Designer to join our team. The job will require creating, pitching, writing and maintaining story line and dialogs for our games in order to create immersive storytelling and exiting player experience. Working with plot, lore and characters of our games' universes.

• Working closely with Creative Team and Designers in developing story and characters, participate in story line meetings and brainstorm sessions
• Write pitches and dialogs for cut-scenes
• Help creating and updating game script
• Develop Characters' arches and trace their evolution
• Write dialogs for side stories and quests
• Maintain order in dialog database, keeping it ready for localization

REQUIREMENTS

• Native Ukrainian is a MUST.
• Journalism or writers' education
• 4+ years of experience in Screenwriting or creative copywriting
• Experience of writing fiction and documentary texts and stories
• Excellent level of written and speaking English
• Genuine interest and passion in video games
• Ability to create and develop Character arches
• Knowledge of dramatic and storytelling techniques
• Experience working with story based digital production (TV, drama, documentaries, film)
• Mentoring other Narrative Designers in Responsibilities
