Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset.
As a Senior .NET Developer at Endava you will have participate in the activities of designing, building and documenting enterprise back-end solutions including test development to ensure service delivery meets expectations. You will provide development expertise for backend services and systems from design to build and play a key role in mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, estimates, and implements technical solutions for medium/high complexity applications.
- Participates actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.
- Collaborates with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
- Recommends and promotes IT industry standards, tools, and practices (DevOps, etc.) to achieve well-engineered software products.
- Proposes improvements and escalates risks/issues related to development activities.
- Participates in the review of the work done by development team members.
- Learns and applies new technologies, practices, and tools as appropriate to the project.
- Participates in internal and external tech communities, events, etc.
- Shares experience and knowledge gained from projects.
- Proficient in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and LINQ with 5+ years of experience
- Practical experience with React development
- Extensive experience developing large-scale, multi-project solutions
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Experience establishing and implementing best practices across backend ecosystems
- Proficient with architectural patterns and clean code principles
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform
- Practical experience with SQL Server and SQL query development
- Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong experience implementing comprehensive backend testing strategies
- Practical experience with both Integration and Unit Testing frameworks
- Familiar with HTTP, REST APIs, JSON, TCP/IP, and other communication protocols
- Hands-on experience with Agile development practices
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools and practices
- Understanding of modern development and deployment pipelines
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities
- Proven teamwork and cross-functional collaboration experience
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency
