Job Description

The Senior Planner ATL is a results-oriented individual responsible for leading the development and implementation of comprehensive and creative ATL (Above The Line) communication strategies for clients. This role involves market research, competitive analysis, audience analysis, defining target audiences, selecting effective ATL media channels (TV, radio, print, outdoor), and crafting detailed media plans. The planner will collaborate with creative and media buying teams, monitor campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and act as a strategic advisor to clients, presenting strategies and results.
Must have:
  • Develop innovative ATL communication strategies aligned with client marketing and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and audience analysis.
  • Define target audience, effective ATL media channels, and campaign budget.
  • Elaborate detailed media plans, including media selection, frequency, reach, and budget optimization.
  • Collaborate with creative, media buying, and account teams for implementation.
  • Monitor and analyze ATL campaign performance using KPIs and media analysis tools.
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients on ATL media planning and execution.
  • Present strategies, media plans, and campaign results to clients.
  • University degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication or related field.
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing successful ATL campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional media landscape (TV, radio, print, outdoor).
  • Experience with media analysis tools and media planning platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Overview

The ATL Planner is results-oriented to join our strategic planning team. In this position, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of comprehensive and creative ATL (Above The Line) communication strategies for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the traditional media landscape, strong analytical experience, and a proven track record of success in creating effective media plans that achieve client marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • ATL Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop innovative ATL communication strategies aligned with client marketing and business objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and audience analysis to identify opportunities and develop targeted media strategies.
  • Define the target audience, the most effective ATL media channels (television, radio, print media, outdoor advertising), and the campaign budget.
  • Elaborate detailed media plans, including media selection, frequency and reach planning, and budget optimization.
  • Campaign Implementation and Management:
  • Collaborate with creative, media buying, and account teams to ensure the correct implementation of ATL strategies.
  • Supervise the launch and execution of campaigns, ensuring quality of execution and compliance with deadlines and budgets.
  • Analysis and Optimization:
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of ATL campaigns using key performance metrics (KPIs) and media analysis tools.
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimization opportunities to maximize campaign impact and efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, including insights, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Client Relationships and Collaboration:
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the client on issues related to ATL media planning and execution.
  • Present strategies, media plans, and campaign results to clients clearly and concisely.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and business objectives.
  • Stay Updated:
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in the ATL media industry, including new platforms, ad formats, and measurement technologies.
  • Research and evaluate new media opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing successful ATL campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of the traditional media landscape, including television, radio, print media, and outdoor advertising.
  • Experience with media analysis tools and media planning platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, lead a team, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
