Job Summary

This role involves investigating and analyzing the stability of the responsible process area, identifying and implementing stability, quality, and cost-saving improvements. The engineer will collaborate closely with experts from business units, product technology, and manufacturing, including technology development projects. Key responsibilities also include qualifying and releasing test technology solutions and ensuring active, cross-location knowledge management within the field. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in electrical engineering, physics, engineering sciences, or computer science, with several years of experience in the semiconductor industry.

Must Have

  • Investigate and analyze process area stability
  • Identify and implement stability, quality, and cost improvements
  • Collaborate with Business Units, Product Technology, and Manufacturing experts
  • Qualify and release test technology solutions
  • Ensure active, cross-location knowledge management
  • University degree (Diplom/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Several years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Basic understanding of data analysis
  • Proficiency in German and English communication

Good to Have

  • Experience with automatic test equipment (Teradyne Eagle, MPS (MMCI), Keysley/Keyghsight)
  • Experience with Probecard technologies or Wafer probing
  • Experience with data preparation and visualization tools (Tableau, KNIME, Origin)

Main activities:

  • Investigation and analysis of the stability of the responsible process area

  • Close cooperation with experts from Business Units, Product Technology and Manufacturing, also in technology development projects

  • Ensuring active, cross-location knowledge management (development, exchange, transfer) within your field

Qualifications and skills that will help you succeed:

You successfully meet the requirements if you:

  • Have completed a university degree (Diplom/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Engineering Sciences or Computer Science
  • Have several years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Ideally have initial experience in handling automatic test equipment (Teradyne Eagle, MPS (MMCI), Keysley/Keyghsight ), probecard technologies or wafer probing
  • Have a basic understanding in the area of data analysis
  • Ideally have experience with data preparation and visualization (e.g., Tableau / KNIME / Origin)
  • Can communicate confidently in German and English
