Cloud Chamber is looking for an experienced Senior Animation Producer to work closely with multidisciplinary teams centered around development of Gameplay and Technical Animation. You are extremely well versed in the process of AAA console development and content pipelines. Under the guidance and management of a Lead Producer, and in partnership with the Animation Director, you will be responsible for defining the strategy, workflows, and pipelines for the animation department.

To be successful in this role you should have a deep understanding of the iterative nature of creative processes and how to best coordinate them, previous experience building healthy, high functioning relationships with external and internal vendors, and be seen by your peers and superiors as a force multiplier for your team with a high EQ when it comes to management, empowerment, and motivation.

Job Details:

  • Collaborate closely with the Animation Director and Leads to build and manage workflows for the animation department.
  • Work with animators and technical animators to deliver best in class tools and content.
  • Work with the Animation Directors, Lead Animation, Technical Animation Lead, and Production to establish processes and pipelines to support animation development.
  • You will directly manage (mentor/coach and support) producers and potentially some leads and ICs under your supervision. You will also report to a Lead Producer.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills of the work in between the different departments.
  • Oversee planning for Motion Capture or Xsens shot for gameplay animation content.
  • Drive review process & manage deliveries and milestones of same all while ensuring output is up to the qualitative standards of the studio.
  • Coordinate if necessary with outsourcers and co-dev partners to maintain visibility and project cadence.
  • Assist in the identification and management of external partners and individual contractors attached to the team if necessary.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

You’re a clear communicator and can collaborate seamlessly with your team. You understand creative personalities and are able to act as the structure to their fantastical visions. You get things done! You have experience and knowledge to share, and a desire to improve not only your skills, but add to the development and optimization of our workflows.

  • 5-7 years previous experience in AAA game development or at least one title shipped.
  • Familiar to fluent in JIRA, Excel, Confluence, Google Suite.
  • Ability to drive teams to deliver AAA quality animation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with deadlines.   
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.   
  • Previous experience with outsourcing or co-development teams. 
  • In-depth knowledge of industry trends in interactive storytelling.
