The Ratings & Reviews Consumer Experience team focuses on innovative shopping experiences and generating high-quality user-generated content. As a Group Product Manager, you will define strategy and roadmap for Bazaarvoice Configuration, merging social media, eCommerce, and ratings & reviews, focusing on end-customer requirements and launching scalable solutions.

Must Have:
  • Lead Product Discovery and Early Adopter Programs to ensure product success and build iteratively.
  • Interpret high level business and product requirements and create feature requirements, user stories and relevant product backlog items.
  • Own the build-out of the capability, market-testing, validation, go-to-market, success narrative and further enhancements and Product release.
  • Work with the technical service teams and product knowledge team to build internal training and documentation.
  • Communicate across teams to ensure consistent backlog alignment and ensure engineering teams have what they need.
  • Serve as a liaison with management, engineering, and stakeholders for regular updates on product development and operations.
  • 10+ years’ prior experience in product management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and launching products, preferably in a similar industry or domain.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals.
  • Ability to prioritize product features and make strategic decisions to drive business growth.
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of product development to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate a product vision.
  • Ability to conduct market research, interview customers, analyze competitors, and identify opportunities for product innovation.
  • Comfortability to analyze data and make decisions based on data insights by defining key product metrics.

About the Team

The Ratings & Reviews Consumer Experience team at Bazaarvoice aims to offer an innovative shopping experience to consumers. This involves helping them generate engaging, high-quality user-generated content that brings significant business value to Bazaarvoice's clients.

As a Group Product Manager responsible for Bazaarvoice Configuration, you will play a critical role in the research, planning, and delivery of products that merge social media, eCommerce, and ratings & reviews. Your objective will be to transform configuration of website displays and email templates across each of our product lines. Your primary focus will be on comprehending the requirements of our end customers, internal business teams, and development teams, and then launching solutions that cater to those requirements on a large scale.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Defining a strategy and creating a 1-2 year roadmap for your assigned areas.
  • Knowing the pulse of the market and field including sales, implementation teams and your customers. Incorporate the feedback into the roadmap as appropriate.
  • Serve as an advocate for your product area in discussions with clients.
  • Execute on the roadmap by making meaningful (sometimes difficult) prioritization decisions focussed on highest impact.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to perform competitive analysis, develop product positioning and messaging, and pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
